Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I just see this three way trade as consolidating two deals into one. Most likely the Tigers were going to take our pick 40 and package it up for the Dogs anyway, so why not try to lock down pick 17 immediately?
Cryptic indeed. Any ideas?
Nth strong arming the tigers in trade negotiations?

Looks to me to be symbolism that North are going to have no qualms bending Richmond over.
This isn't too bad really. 40-47 on draft night will be pretty close once a few picks dissapear from father sons.
Essentially CCJ for a future 3rd happy days.
Keeps the PSD open for anything that may break down late
Caveat is nothing to tazz. But keeps tigers happy.
Sounds like saints approached us so since contracted we’d just tell them to **** offTrading Xerri makes no sense. We need depth in our tall stocks.
And don't give me Edwards and Comben who have a royal 1 AFL game between them.

I'm not sure he gets the chances he expects next year if he goes to the Saints.Trading Xerri makes no sense. We need depth in our tall stocks.

While Richmond is pissing in our ear lets do some other trades.
North: Out -> Future 2nd Round
West Coast Out -> Pick 35 & 52 (768 points)
North: Out -> Future 3rd Round and Future 4th Round
Gold Coast Out -> 19, 61, Dead Weight Salary Dump
North: Out -> Pick 35, 40, 52 and 61 (1332 points)
Bulldogs: Out -> Pick 17 (1025 points)
Draft JFH (1), Daicos (2/2013 points), Darcy (3/1787 points)
Dogs would only need an additional 455 points which they will get from the Lipinski trade. Do Dogs want to give pick 17 to someone who will compete against them next year or the wooden spoon team?
North: Out -> Tarrant (free agency)
North: In -> 3rd round pick
Draft: picks 1, 17, 19, 20 + 3rd round compo
PSD: CCJ
I kinda wish you were running the show.

It was mentioned in one of the AFL videos that Richmond haven't found themselves in this position before, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. They clearly want to package picks to move up the draft but so do a lot of other clubs. Worst case scenario it might get to draft night where they're trading them out for unders (future picks).I'm definitely no draft expert, bit it seems to me that Tigers have way more draft picks than available list spots, do they have to start wheeling and dealing, or is there some chance thay could be left holding some come draft time ?

Coke? Aren't we a self-centred enough society as it is?Wel off track here, but thoughts on legalisation and taxing its sale? I don't know enough to make any bold statements, but do wonder if it would work.

The Saints want him so Marshall can play permanent KPF.
But Ryder is going around again in the ruck.
He will be a bit part player at St Kilda.
Something must have happened
He would need a decade in the VFL before he would make the team.he’d play 22 games and some losing finals if he went to Geelong.
