I'm not sure, He gets a ton of the ball when playing through the middle.

If Gold Coast want future picks, we’d be in front of all those teams if they only offer a future 2nd, I still think pick 19 this year could be more valuable than our future 2nd even if we finish last next year. If Melbourne or Port offer up their next year first though, you’d have to assume Gold Coast would take that.

Its not a need, but it would have been nice to have gotten pick 19. It would have given us 3 picks in the top 20, something we've never had.

Yeah that’s why I mentioned short kick not overall kick. He has a dart of a short kick, doesn’t make the best decisions and bombs it a bit. He’s improved a lot over the years and started getting a game towards the end of the year.

and Pick 19 from the suns. He is good mates with Simpkin and would fit our age profile nicely. Might cost us more than the original proposal involving Macpherson though.

Mcpherson would at least have a chance to play best 22 at North in a small forward role.
There's no way brodie would be close to getting a game in our midfield.

Luffy, Brady and Scotty Clayton just need to play the long game here.
Brodie and MacPherson will probably be a couple of Tom Dysons, chewing up list spots and $$. They will probably have to have their contracts extended to 2023 to free up $$ for King, Rankine et al. so we will be able to pry out a decent player or two on good coin this time next year given Gold Coast will already have a squillion draft picks but need cash and list spots.
