Nothing makes me more excited having position competition. I do like how our Ruck list is going having the mature being goldy & Campbell (also JW? Maybe), developing being CCJ and Xerri and raw being edwards. It’s going to shape us well for seasons to come

We do seem to produce an uncommon amount of good rucks.

🤣🤣🤣 Good work on not trawling other boards, the passive aggression on your own board towards anyone with a differing view appears to have suited you well anyway.

I’ll be glad if we get him as well. Just needs to be within a certain level of risk IMO.

haha passive aggressive? You were itching for an argument and your endless posting on the topic here and on the speculation thread support that.

Yes, the club will deem that risk.

Does big tommy go around again if we get CCJ? It will be an interesting sub-plot to all of this. I think there is benefit to retaining him, but not sure he would survive the next cull if we had CCJ over the line. Love big tommy, he would be a great asset to retain for development. Perhaps a move to VFL and off the list maybe.

I would because the experience gap is way too big just for insurance unless we grab one up in the PSD or something

It couldn’t be good news for Campbell if Coleman-Jones comes.

Goldy ruck CCJ ruck/fwd, Larkey fwd

Xerri ruck, Edwards ruck/fwd, Comben fwd

Next on the menu is to get one or two more developing KPD options.

He seems so highly regarded internally, and do believe he would have been a 1st choice ruckman at a couple of other clubs. A little undersized but still a ruthless competitor. Whatever happens I personally hope he is at the club in 2022, whatever capacity that may be. I guess it will depend a little on how Xerri comes on next year. IS he contracted beyond 2022?

Gotta be looking at Xerri main ruck, CCJ 2nd ruck/forward when goldy retires.

Gibcus & Allerr is a dream😩

Yeah, if we take Porne with pick 1, I hope we look at some key defenders. Tarrant doesn't have a lot of petrol in the tank and while Walker isn't terrible in spoiling contests, it is usually a chaos ball with his disposal. The teams in the top 4 generally have a very solid backline that doesn't panic under pressure.

CCJ thing has Balme flying in at the end with a bag a cash written all over it.
"yeah I never really wanted to leave Richmond, it's like my family here, blah blah blah"
the issue is he wont be getting games at richmond whereas he could be playing every week at North.
Stuck behind 3-5 guys at the tigers and doubt they'll play 3 talls in the forward line.
