I'm my opinion the secret to a happy life is a very poor memory. Every day starts new, and if you practice hard enough, every hour becomes new.

This reminding people is akin to torture. Please people, let us live with our versions of who we were.

PS I was pro Charlie only because of my son was already a fan of his. But there's loads of other stuff I would cringe at if I had a functional memory.

Some of the happiest people I’ve met are sadly those who are on the lower end of the intellect scale. They might struggle in the world but at the end of the day they’re pretty bloody happy and it’s the small things for them that counts. Go figure.
