Well, the much-maligned Cox did something very well with 30 seconds to go, that helped save the game. Great second effort to intercept the handpass and then as the Tigers player tried to run the spilled ball forward, tremendous effort to lunge and affect the Tiger player's kick.

Was arguably a tackle and incorrect disposal, should have been HTB to Cox.

HUGE effort from the big man that should not go un-commented on!

Huge effort and showed great desperation. Never gave up and affected the disposal, really had no business catching a much smaller opponent.

Yeah that was a great effort at the end of 120 minutes of footy. His team mate almost cost them the game though by handballing it straight to a Richmond player.

He deserves huge praise for that effort. It may well have saved the game for us. He missed a couple of shots he might have kicked, and stuffed up with that kick to nobody late in the game, but still made quite a reasonable contribution overall.

Perhaps the penny has finally dropped with Sier, hope so for both the club and him personally.
Needs to be selected next week and he will need to bring his A game.

He's been dominating for ages. The issue isn't with Sier, it's with the selection committee. Let's hope the penny drops for Harvey.

Instead we promote C Brown back in the side after he has a halfway ok game that doesn't hold a candle to Siers.

Unlike the seniors, I love that the VFL team is winning all the close games this season. It has put us in a fantastic position to make finals at 6 wins - 2 losses.

Out of our 6 matches left, 5 of them are against teams currently 13th or worse on the ladder.

That's easily the best Chugg has looked for mine. If he can keep playing like that for the rest of the season he shouldn't have to be chopped after all.

Too busy getting 37 possessions of his own I guess.

I didn’t get to watch it, but 37 for Sier is a new benchmark by some way regardless of what his opponent did. He’s never gotten enough outside ball to push into that echelon previously. Probably too little too late, but interesting all the same.

No, the poster you replied to meant that Sier's opponent, Caddy, got 37 possessions. Sier himself did OK though, picked up 27 possessions of his own, the highest for C'wood.

The 37 was Caddy. Mr Sier racked up a serviceable 27…

27 possessions is probably double what Brown got last week, and he was the one who got promoted.Go figure.

Oakleigh are playing right now. Does anyone know why Faye isn't playing for them, rather than watching our VFL team play?

Talking to done of the boys yesterday, they commented that he is a beast of an athlete & a good bloke but is so far off an AFL ready player it’s not funny - more so than when Cox started!

So is he not even ready to play NAB League at this stage, or is he meant to have an injury of some sort?

The issue has always been with Sier, he has a tendency to cruise.
Hopefully being forced to bang the door down has taught him a valuable lesson.
