OK all you wise Eagles followers time to put your "reputation" ;)on the line.

2021 season is almost upon us. So what does the near future look like?

What do you predict will change for the Eagles in season 2021?

My thoughts.

  1. Duggan to midfield will become the BBIMWBLF.
  2. Shuey to spend time on the HFF to prolong his career.
  3. Leading goal kicker Oscar Allen 45 goals
  4. We will change to a faster game plan

No Trew debut
Hurn plays < 10 games
Williams plays exactly 10 games
Langdon will play every game
Ah Chee won't play another AFL game before being delisted
Lead the comp for intercept marks again; scoring efficiency per i50s
Ryan to spend more time up the ground & around stoppages

  1. Darling leading goalkicker with 55 goals.
  2. Kelly to win B&F
  3. Ainsworth to play 10+ games
  4. Yeo to return after the bye rounds.
  5. Finish 7th on the ladder, spending the whole season just outside the top 4 giving us false hope that we're a contender
Seems reasonable.

Trew to get a rising star. Will play 7-8 games,

Yeo wont return till round 12-13.

Witho and Langdon to slot right in.

Allen to go the next level and get 35 goals as the third tall.

JK to only play 12-15 games.

If Willie makes it anywhere near the club in 2021 I reckon Liam Ryan goes up another level

10 wins, finish 11th, pick 8 will be taken to the draft, we're due a down year.
Reckon we'll be hit harder than other teams with border closures, some home games will be played interstate.
Another average season by Kelly, questions will be asked the cost to get him here.
Allen is a gem, will kick plenty of goals playing almost exclusively forward.
Freo will win one or both derbies, they are well and truly due.

Well not hard to see how your are thinking here.

My understanding was that a big part of the recently announced and agreed upon squad wide pay cut was that the club would not go after a big name player this off season or next.
