Analysis 2021 - What's the pass mark?

So if we take your maybes as wins then we'll be 7-0 before the showdown. Sydney - GC - Norf- Freo - Hawks - GWS. More than a pass mark if that happens but doubtful.

Well, yeah.. we have a few winnable games in the first 8 rounds.. then it looks very tough.

My Pass mark is to watch Kane Cornes being forced to say more positive things through gritted teeth about Tex Walker!

That was champagne content after round 1, and was almost enough to tick the pass mark checkbox on its own!

Imagine if Tex comes out and has a 40+ goal season

Reckon the bare minimum is:
- 5 wins, hoping for 6 to 8
- No wooden spoon
- Selection priority focused on youth
- 5 AFL debuts (will be 3 already by the end of this round)
- Effort and passion evident throughout

Anything more than that would be amazing, but unexpected.

Isn’t the touted number 1 pick this year a South Australian?

if so, I’d be happy to take the spoon again. A pass mark is to really give our kids as much exposure to AFL as possible. Playing a Mackay over a kid is a fail!

Interested to hear from the people saying we need to win 5-6 games, which 5-6 teams are we beating this year?

Maybe there looking at who when and where we Play,
Like North, Hawks, Freo, at Home. then we Play North and Hawk away, Then add the upsets Like Geelong, maybe home games against Collingwood, Melb, GWS Suns are even a chance Home.
Personally in a full season with decent home crowds, anything under 6 games is a failed season.

Definitely going better than what I thought , be disappointed if we didn’t win 6 games min now

Crows will likely be 4-1 or 3-2 after 5 games. I think winning 8 games minimum is a must, along with bringing in youth at the same time.
