Ah got it! I seem to remember at some point serong was a contender for pick 1, then in his draft year dropped down a bit then slid further. clearly there were lots of blindfolds on.

If this is true that matt is staying then he’s obviously accepted the fact he’s playing SANFL unless he can change his game and provide something different than he is now.

Wont be a bad thing as Matt being in the SANFL next year will help with the development of our youth.

Hopefully Keays is back there with him for most of the year too.. Keays can helo show the youth the way when it comes to effort and tenacity..

Only issue in it all is that we need the list spots..

The thing is in the absence of another club wanting him ( which might be the case ) then it’s his only option other than retirement from AFL footy

Sheezel has done more than enough this year , won’t affect his draft position one iota

Kangas be mad not to draft him IMO , Tsatas another good one for them

What type of player is McKenzie

Inside / out midfielder

He reminds me a tiny bit of Robbie gray when he played mid with a bit more burst speed than Robbie , he’s not as freakish by any means or as talented

He would really add to our midfield but I’d take phillipou ahead of him as I think he has huge upside to come

I would have thought Mckenzie has more burst speed, and is slightly better by foot? Probably gets a bit more of the ball as well, though I haven't checked that.

Phillipou has him for height and overhead, and probably will have him for size around the contest?

I admit Ive not seen him live but I think we will regret if we don't snaffle him with pick 23.... he looks on tv to me like where the ruck position is heading. others may know more.

Based on projection and late birthday probably

V difficult to tell who ends up the best of those in 4-6 years

I heard thru a recruiter that going into the season we had little to no interest then his form surprised us and he really got on our radar …. But I’m not sure enough to take him with our 2nd pick . Only time will tell but I think he ends up elsewhere with the way the picks fall

Why Tsatas so low?

It’s more about how big I am on Phillipou (huge upside, ability to be a marking influence for a mid etc) and McKenzie (genuine burst player with solid foot skills, accumulates just as well as any mid in this draft), rather than being low on Tsatas

Would welcome all three to the club
