Bit of a throwback to last year. How did Judson Clarke play for Vic Country despite playing juniors at East Ringwood, going to school in North Croydon, and playing for Dandenong? All seemingly in Metro.

Does anyone have a border for Vic Metro/country

Northern, Western, Eastern, Calder, Sandringham and Oakleigh are all Metro sides, the rest are Country for an even 6/6 split

Same way anyone from Dandenong plays for Country.

they had 7 vic metro and 5 country teams, so they decided to make the team from the south/east which was furthest from the cbd the 6th country team to balance out the u18's championships, i thought everyone knew that, because i think Dandenong used to be the Southern Stingrays?

the Northern Knights, Eastern Ranges and Western Jets are in metro, but the Southern Stingrays(Dandenong) are in the Country Zone for balance reasons.

No Cadman, Van Es, Northam, Hustwaite, Etc.?
A lot of guarantees to make the squad aren’t playing and more for country include Clark and Szybkowski. Wardlaw Sheezel and Ashcroft also missing for Metro.

There’s are Trail matches pretty sure Ashcroft Wardlaw and Scheezel are givens to play under-18s not sure they need to play trail games these teams are to make up the rest of the squad I’m guessing

On the 18s watch out for:

Jakob RyanTall blonde half back flanker with a bit of dash
Adam D'Aloia (c)Well rounded midfielder
Mattaes PhillipouTall mid/flank, great overhead
Harry BarnettRuck, watch for him to take players on and get around the ground
Kobe RyanOutside leaning midfielder darting around packs

Cam McKenzie dominating for VM, vm up by 3pts at half time after dominating the first qtr and vc's big men dominating the 2nd qtr.

Archer Reid having a big game for Country so far, Stocks rising, there seems to be a scoring end and a non scoring end, vm starting strong in the 3rd, vm midfield seems too strong but Country finding a way around it.

This streamed anywhere/replay available?

edit - on Clutch it seems. Although, few of the players I'm most keen to check out (Wardlaw, Sheezel, Clark, etc) are playing. Why's that?

Likely because they've already been pencilled in as starters for the Nationals.
