Oh right we have a thread for this lmao

Quite a few impressive players out there today at Trevor Barker Oval, Chargers in particular have a lot of KPP height talent that have a lot of upside despite the loss. Ones that impressed me;

Declan Willmore (Calder Cannons, General Forward, 4 Goals),
Carlos Egan (Calder Cannons, Small Forward/ Midfielder),
Harry Rowston (Calder Cannons, Midfielder),
Will Ashcroft (Sandringham Dragons, Midfielder, Brisbane F/S),
Sam Hansen (Sandringham Dragons, General Defender),
Harry Sheezel (Sandringham Dragons, General Forward),
Elliott Perkins (Sandringham Dragons, Midfielder, Brother of Archie),
Hugo Birks (Sandringham Dragons, Tall Forward).
Darcy Gilbert (Sandringham Dragons, Tall Utility),
Josh Hamilton (Northern Knight, Midfielder/ Small Forward)
Dane Harvey (Northern Knights, Tall Forward/ Winger)
Cooper Harvey (Northern Knights, General Forward, North Melbourne F/S, 3 Goals)
Jason McCormick (Northern Knights, Small Forward, 4 Goals)
Jacob Naismith (Northern Knights, General Defender)
Luka Sala (Northern Knights, Ruck/ Tall Forward)
Jack McInerney (Northern Knights, Midfielder/ General Forward, 4 goals, possibly brother of Justin)
Benjamin Ham (Northern Knights, Midfielder)
Jack O'Sullivan (Oakleigh Chargers, Midfielder)
Tommy Warner (Oakleigh Chargers, Tall Forward)
George Wardlaw (Oakleigh Chargers, Midfielder)
Nicholas McLarty (Oakleigh Chargers, Ruck)
Matthew Jefferson (Oakleigh Chargers, Tall Forward)
Alwyn Davey Jnr. (Oakleigh Chargers, General Forward, Essendon F/S)
Will Tanner (Oakleigh Chargers, Tall Defender)
Lewis Hayes (Eastern Ranges, Tall Defender)
Cristian Ciampa (Eastern Ranges, Small Forward)
Christian Poe (Eastern Ranges, Midfielder/ Small Defender)

Eastern must have pleny of depth if they were able to beat Northern by 10 goals and then Oakleigh in their 2 games

Will Verrall is just about the best 16 year old athletic Ruck prospect I've ever seen. Looks to have it all, athleticism, agility, clean hands great overhead and kicking looks decent enough.

Small midfielder Austin McDonald is an absolute ball magnet, hopefully he grows some in the next couple of years.

Isaac Keeler a tall athletic indigenous Ruck/Forward (Adelaide NGA) is showing a heap of potential as well.

Midfielder Adam D’Aloia another ball magnet that's sure to be getting plenty of attention in coming years as well.
Does Nigel Smart's son Noah play?

I notice on our that on our forum he has been named as being eligible for the 2022 draft.

eDPS have you seen much of Jason Gilbee, I saw he played for the pioneers on the weekend and is their first under 17s player to debut

Out of curiosity, is Alex Condon any relation to former Hawthorn player Anthony?

I believe that Ed Allan is the son of Dockers inaugural captain Ben, but does not appear to be father/son eligible for with Fremantle or Hawthorn (was 2 games short for the Hawks).

The other one I am curious about is Griff Julian. He wouldn't be any relation to former Australian cricketer Brendon Julian would he?

I am hearing that Gippsland Power have some high end talent in this age group. Have you seen them? What are your thoughts?

Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com
Schuback, Konstanty, Humphrey and Howe all showed some good signs in the trials. Not sure if all 4 make the final Country squad but all played well.

Metro have some good rucks to look out for aswell. Nick McLarty, Hudson O’Keefe and Will Elliot
Thought Isaac Cullen, the starting Vic metro ruckmen actually played a decent game. Showed promising signs with defensive workrates and getting up the ground and back.

Out of curiosity, is Alex Condon any relation to former Hawthorn player Anthony?

Condon I believe is the son of East Fremantle triple premiership player Damian Condon, who is also on the board of Directors at East Fremantle....Condon Snr was versatile KPP who played up back and front in EF 92, 94 & 98 flags....pity Snr hasn't convinced Jnr to don the blue n white of EF.....apparently Jnr stands at 203cm....way taller then Snr....
