We are being trolled with Hustwaite now dropping out of the top 30. He played the last couple of games of the year on one leg and was still going ok.

Would really like Tedcastle late. Don’t know if someone picks him up or not but he has the skill set he’s going to end up a really nice size as a small forward 180cm and towards 80kgs with a preseason under his belt. Think he would do better in our environment than the private school environment he’s currently in.
Just one I’ve liked all year you don’t coach athletic ability and the defensive mindset he’s noted for maybe isn’t something you see in a lot of Territorians?

I have a feeling Hayes mark 2 will be available at our pick due to the same tank concerns his brother had and still has .

It looks like a handy player will slide to our pick given the variety of opinion between clubs on the skills of the available players.

Basically that's what Twomey is saying, Port will grab the best slider, but who knows who that will be? That he thinks Hayes or Hustwaite could be a chance shows how open this draft is.

Anyone who can breach the paywall let us know what he says about Port after he's finished fapping over Adelaide

Port Adelaide has been tipped to take a key defender with either its first pick (33) or second (60).

But who it chooses with its top selection will ultimately come down to what players slip through so may instead take a different type of prospect that it rates higher.

It is believed to be eyeing Greater Western Victoria Rebels tall defender James Van Es but St Kilda is also interested and, at 32, chooses one spot ahead of the Power.

Van Es is 197cm, 99kg, known for his intercept marking and his strength in one-on-one contests.

While rival recruiters thought the Power could swoop on West Adelaide swingman Harry Lemmey at 33, some clubs did not expect him to get there, tipping Collingwood to snare him at 25 or 27.

West Australian backman Jed Adams, who is 194cm and 89kg, may be an option at that later pick.

The Power’s lack of draft capital after trading for Jason Horne-Francis and Junior Rioli means it will not trade up the order from 33.

It has interest in both North Adelaide small forward/wingman Frank Szekely or Norwood forward/ruck Phoenix Foster but is not expected to snare either of them.

Next Generation Academy half-back/midfielder Nathan Barkla is set to go undrafted on the first two nights, allowing the Power to grab him as a Category B rookie.

Saints also interested in Van Es. Normally they wait until we've drafted the KPD before showing interest.

Watched a bit of video of Jed Adams which of course makes me an instant expert and he does play with authority as a strong marking key defender. He played a bit like Ethan Phillips. Looks physically ready to go too.
