Peel Thunder and South Fremantle advanced in week one of the WAFL Colts finals series. We noted some of the top performers from either win.

Rating Konstanty so far. Thinking through plays really well and hitting some tough handpasses

Humphrey is gonna be a gun wherever he goes. I love the way Hollands plays too. Hustwaite could be a point of different at AFL with his height and ability to play as a winger. Charlie Clarke just has an insane ability to find goals. Van Es playing his role very well and going under the radar. Jhye Clark just never stops trying. Ashcroft continues to accumulate albeit not as damaging. Konstanty has a few tricks in his bags as he's shown.

Sheezel and McKenzie not at their usual best.

I don't get why recruiters don't rate this draft. I think the top 15 is strong. And there'll be some gems after that which is what every draft is.

I'd pick 35 players in this draft before Rioli

He spoke with real maturity about how he came to grips with that , grew up quickly and now plays for his mate every time he takes the field. Country kid from Moe with real strong values and leadership , would love to have him.

I agree, maybe even 15 players in this draft that can have good if not great AFL careers. There are some gems to be found later too under the right development and coaching

From what I seen of the Vic game that Watson will be a handy pick up next year.
