While you're here, take a few minutes out of your Draft Day(s) to cast a vote on the 2022 Game Previews poll.

I’m on the record of wanting in order the following at our previous pick 30, which is now 33.

Barnett
Brayden George
Lewis Hayes
Burgeil

Failing all that Magor.

Odds are that one of them will make it with only 11 picks before ours, and all still on the table!

Magor and George are similar players with George ranked higher, but he does have the ACL to work through next year.

For me it's:

Barnett
George
Hotton
Burgiel
Clark
Magor

It's highly unlikely but it'd huge if one of the top 3 was available to us.

Going by what Walls said it could be something like:

30ish : Keeler ( similar player to Benning and Draper but could be viewed as best available )
40ish : Davies, Green
60ish : Williams ( reckon a bid will come on Williams )

Rookie Draft : Wagner

NGA : Draper

Yes way, Hagan's kicking is way sharper, you cant run as fast as a kicked football.
You've obviously never seen me kick a football.

Can anyone can explain to me why Brisbane did not lose all their picks when Ashcroft and Fletcher were bid on, I thought they would lose all their picks including the one in the 50's..would appreciate the 'explano'

Without going into the specific mathematics - the total points value of the sum of their pics was enough to cover both father-sons. Don't forget F/S draftees get a significant points discount.

They made a point of accumulating mid-range picks over the trade period to account for their 2 high picks.

Brisbane traded their earlier pick and futures to pick up a handful of extra selections in the 40s to 50s

So, what does “best available” look like in everyone’s eyes?

I’m thinking our biggest hole is creative/attacking flair up front. We desperately need more goals, but outside of another Ballas remarkably being there at 33, can a first year small forward help us, let alone break into the first 22?

Besides Barnett being there at 33, which he won’t, I’m not that excited by our options.
