I get that a draft review is easy clicks so it's going to be done every year but there couldnt be a more pointless exercise if they tried. It's literally just an amateur draft watcher with half the information (pysch reviews, interviews etc) comparing their ratings against literal professionals. Also pretty sure I rant about this each year haha

Is it still a contested mark if the defender has to use a ladder to get near your hands?

Pretty funny watching the evolution of Knightmare over the last few years. He has scaled down scathing reviews of clubs on draft night, mostly because it usually turns out (with the hindsight of time) that they know more than he does. The best example of this is when he gave our recruiters a “C” grade for 2016. (2016 turned out to be arguably the best draft in the Dockers history)

The preseason draft has been cancelled.

Any NGA players not drafted are now eligible for category B listing prior to the rookie draft.

There was a time when you could reasonably argue Freo had done better with rookies than with top 10 picks. Sandi, Roger, Barlow v Walker, Drum, Dunn. Our most successful period was built on later picks and rookies as much as it was top tier picks. Maybe that's why I still love watching the rookie draft to see what happens. Its nice to have a few picks. Personally I'd like Hagan, Draper and Skaife but list balance might see something else happen.
