It's just the AFL decided to be innovative and have a 24 hr curtain-raiser so people can get used to booking games again and to remember the directions to the MCG

I can’t see the demons v dogs game getting more then 60k on Wednesday night. Why not just have that game on the Friday night instead of the Saint v Pies at Marvel.

it'll be a one off cause most victorians havn't been to a game in years, we'll be first up next year when the 'grand final rematch' gets like 60-70k and the carlton richmond game gets 80+ yewww.

I for one am happy we aren't featuring in the season opener against Richmond. I'm sick of fronting up round one at the G to open the season, getting smashed and the season going down hill from there. Prefer some easier. potential soft kills to get the season started off on the right foot for a change.

First time in a while I will go into this game genuinely expecting to win..
