If we miss out on Tsatas like we did with Callaghan I'll cry, probably goes pick two behind Ashcroft.

Ashcroft, Tsatas, Lemmey, Wardlaw, Hewett, Scully. Good chance we'll end up with one of them.
Day, dgb, ward and MacDonald, seems to be working out okay no matter where we end up - day will likely end up being the best of them all and his pick 13, why I think we have timed our rebuild well because the clubs around us arnt taking who we want anyway.

Victorian Country and Metro have released their initial representative Under 18 squads.

Six boys are listed as over 195 cms. On a lighter note, given Jacob Konstanty's listed height. I guess marking is not considered to be one of his strengths .

Felix Fogaty has incredible potential. His agility and speed for his height is unmatched.
Currently playing ruck at GWV rebels which is highlighting his ability to bring his midfielders/teammates into the game.
At country level he plays foward and looks really good, wish GWV rebels would play him foward so we could see more of what he can do.

Game breaker written all over him

Him or Sheezel
I imagine clubs will want to see him roll through the middle at some point this year. Has been interviewed by every club apart from Saints and Swans.

I think Sheezel is the big ticket.

There were a lot of reasons why we picked Ward don't get me wrong, but I think we steered clear of Rachele and Erasmus because Wards position was just a little bit higher on the priorities list and we thought we could get a couple more years out of Bruest and Chad.

But now that our engine room is packed with talent of all ages and has a bit of variety, now the priority is the finisher. Someone who will kick the bullshit goals once Punky and Chad bow out. Pure forward.

Rachele wasn’t an option for us. Was already gone.

200+cm 16 year olds o_O and not just one o_O

What I have seen over first 4 rounds is Wardlaw Ashcroft & tsatas are clear standouts with sheezel closing the gap. Wardlaw could increase his numbers and tsatas more inside if any knock both exceptional. Ashcroft reminds me of daicos last year. Pascu is tough and relentless with nice polish. Of the lesser knowns I like whybrow from jets he is a tackling machine. Payne from the jets also is quick but can be to selfish and needs to have more composure. Clark from dragons has really jumped up the order while the first few weeks his numbers weren’t high his skills and decision making stood out along with his willingness to chase and tackle and his game on the week end was elites. Kicking numerous goals but also setting a a few team mates up for easy goals when he could of blazed away. Kai Windsor is another I like from last year but hasn’t come on consistently enough just yet.
What’s your thought on some of the over Agers like D’Ambrossio jets. He has looked really classy down back. Benton from dragons? Jed Rules was very impressive rd1
As I’m vic metro based haven’t seen much of the country teams and no interstate sanfl or wafl aka h
Bailey Humphrey looked a class above in the game I watched between the power and swans academy. Probably should of kicked 6 that day. Brilliant display.
I hear we are keen on Windsor as a second rounder.

i think we can do better than Kai Windsor in this years 2nd round, its a strong year and he is a small mid who has struggled a bit this year.

we are currently doing a Phantom Draft for anyone interested in the draft watchers PoV.

The fella from Glenelg that Cal mentioned has some serious talent (Ashton Moir). May well find himself amongst the top picks in the next draft (reckon he is too young for this year?)

He is for 2023.

Is he a mid?
Hows his tank SYL?
He probably has that capability going forward, but as yet hasn’t been seen much up the ground. Last year when I watched him he and Rachele would work high up the ground, and I’m sure clubs will ask to see him move around to see what he’s got.

He’s probably going to fit that “striker” role, which is something we’d like.
