Eagles at $5.99 at that power price, has to be backed at those odds.

Roos cant be backed at anything less than 1.20, thats the way to the poor house.

Also going to have a small train on Jarrod Brander. Listed on the interchange and i'm not sure how its going to play out with Jesse Hogan back in the side. But did kick 1.3 last week so maybe he can get a look in for a couple? i'm expecting the giants midfield to get the chocolates this week vs richmond with no dusty

2+ $4
3+ 14
@ SB

I didnt realize it was such a big occasion for GWS with 3 players playing milestones.
Jesse Hogan - Playing 100th game
Callan Ward - Playing 250th game,
Tim Taranto - Playing 100th game

lets hope its a landslide

is anyone else seeing the Sportsbet Power Prices come up or are there only for specific users?

I had them for a few weeks last year, absolutely hammered them for the max ($500) while arbing the other side at Betfair for a guaranteed profit basically every bet.

Didn’t last long and they took them away from me. Not sure how they decide who gets them and who doesn’t.

That’s at the TAB.

Thanks. I have never bet on SC scores before but this is the perfect game to start.

Here are Simpkin's SC scores from last year:

Simpkin 2021.png

Round 9 (green) he scored 164 against Hawthorn. Round 17 (blue) he scored 124 against the Eagles.

From that alone, the $2.15 / $5.50 / $26 for 100+ / 125+ / 150+ seems like decent value.

We don't know if the Eagles will put up a good contest or if they will get torn to shreds.

If the latter, then Simpkin et al could cash in for the first time in years.

1u each 100+ / 125+ / 150+

Good luck to us. I get the feeling it’ll be him or LDU that cashes in but feel Simpkin could bring one of those monsters he’s capable of.

Also think McDonald could rack them up today so have had a small nibble at that.

Let’s hope it goes to script and west coast don’t put up too much of a fight.

Had a small nibble at debutant wanganeen to kick a couple goals for the saints on debut. He looks a classy sort.
AGS $2.50

PointsBet Stat Multiplier (Kicks x Handballs x Goals ) Spreads for North Melbourne v West Coast : updateds Roos v Eagles.png

Playing with $1 stakes:

Simpkin- is poor value for anytime goalscorer but i could fathom if you took him on the Overs on the Stats multiplier. $2.25 or more on Simpkin on anytime goalscorer is a worser bet than playing the 'Overs' on the stats multiplier. NO PLAY

Zurhaar- doesnt handball enough to go the over here. Averages 3.61 handballs in last 2 seasons. NO PLAY

Davies-Uniacke- had a good middle patch of the season last year before dropping off. He is one player that i dont mind to go the over. OVER 55

Curtis Taylor- OVER. Cheap line to take on and not too much risk involved. OVER 26

Tim Kelly- NO PLAY. One thing might be to consider he scored a goal against the Roos last year. NO PLAY

Darling- will be main focal point and probably expected to do a bit of the rucking. Can chip in with his 4 handballs or so and clear this line. OVER 68

Shuey- too injury prone over the last 2 seasons and id give it a miss not really knowing which version will show up. NO PLAY

Liam Ryan- even if he kicks a bag of 5 he is no cert to clear the 51. Averages bang on 2.00 hand balls a game in 2021. NO PLAY

Rioli- for some reason Rioli seems to play better in tandem with Liam Ryan. Had a quick look at his years prior and he scored really well. OVER 52

North v WCE Same Game Multi for me:
Willie Rioli 2+ Goals
Angus Dewar 15+ Disposals
Over 169.5 pts

Odds: 11.75 (Boosted from 10.50)

Willie Rioli
4+ Goals @ $23 TopSport (Using the Top Up Token)
5+ Goals @ 121 Sportsbet (using the trick)

The TAB have their microscope on you now........

Into $1.90/$4.50/$15 for 100+/125+/150+ SC points

The North vs West Coast match is going to be entertaining one way or another.

I could see either team winning by 10 goals, I could see a shoot-out or a low-scoring super flood.

Here is what somebody on the North board wrote about the 'top up' players:

Of the four WAFL top-ups, one played AFL footy for West Coast last year, another played for Fremantle last year, Angus Dewar (fka Litherland) played for Hawthorn in their premiership years, and the other Aaron Black is a Sandover Medallist, won five best and fairests at a club that hasn't missed finals in about ten years, and went at 30 touches a game last year.

These aren't local suburb footballers getting called up. They can all play well enough to at least play their role.

The only reason why I haven't put some money on West Coast is because of the ruck situation.

NicNat played every game for the Eagles last year. With him out, it changes the dynamic of the midfield.

Has Williams ever been the numero uno ruckman? He's about to come up against a very good ruck duo.

With the 6-6-6 rule, if Goldstein and Xerri dominate Williams, and feed Simpkin LDU TT etc, it could get ugly.

Larkey is good on a lead and can kick straight. Could be his day.

On the other hand, if the Eagles can at least break even in the ruck, then they could win this game comfortably.

North's defence is a shambles, only Corr and McDonald could games in the backline of a contender (McKay is out).

Ryan and Darling could both kick a bag, Petrucelle and Rioli could kick four each.

As a football fan and as a punter, I'm looking forward to this match more than any I can remember recently.
