There's a night game in Cairns... from memory these games are always terrible spectacles where the ball is a bar of soap that no-one can grab cleanly. Take the unders.

some pretty good games

Geelong 6th v 2nd Freo. Geelong always difficult for any side from interstate. Geelong playing a more attractive style this year. Freo strength is their defence. The contest between Geelong forwards v Freo defence, could be very well where the game is determined. Love the brand of footy the Cats are playing this season, yes its going to take them a while to click but they probably have taken the step of 'how we are going to win a flag'- play the slow and methodical way OR go fast movement and try something different in order to win a flag. They have clearly chosen the 2nd option in 2022. And that is to get the ball into the forward line and let Hawkins and Jeremy Cameron do their job. Slow ball movement hinders them.

Sydney 4th v 3rd Brisbane. Sydney should start favourites. Big test for Brisbane , especially with Top 4 up for the grabs. If they can pick up at least half of their games away from GABBA, they will cement a Top 4 spot. Sydney were slow off the marks today but as the game went on, their midfield and runners overpowered the Hawks.

Pointsbet future team performance multi markets still have good value. A long shot but why not.

Melbourne Premiers
Brisbane Make GF
Saintkilda Top 4
Fremantle To make 8
Adelaide To make 8
North Melbourne Most losses
Dont mind the Adelaide Top 8, North Melbourne Most Losses

But ive added 2 to make it a 4 leg multi

Fremantle to Make Top 4 ($3.25), Sydney Swans Minor Premiers ($8)

Face Brisbane, Melbourne and Freo all once. And I actually fancy them to beat the Saints twice.

To me the minor premiership , only requires 1 slip up from Melbourne for it to be a slightly open race again. Melbourne sides they have all played so far, right now are outside the Top 8.

Adelaide To Make Top 8, Freo To Make Top 4, Swans Minor Premiers, North Melbourne Most Losses

Odds: $390

And taken out North Melbourne Most losses, done 3 leg multi @ Freo Top 4, Adelaide Top 8, Swans Minor Premiers @ 195

Yep I'm definitely not putting anything big on it, Just feel Melbourne the best by a fair way, And Brisbane probably best placed to make it through to Home preliminary final and will be more prepared due to the last 2 years finals experience, Saints have very strong midfield and dangerous forward line looking good chance for top 4, Already beat Freo in Perth,
That's 3 that must make top 4 and leaves a spot open.
Not entirely convinced on Freo but reckon they'll make the 8 due to Home games in Perth.
I reckon the real iffy one, The one that puts the value in is the Crows to make the 8. 7th and 8th spots are open so I can only hope.
North Melbourne beat a covid hit West coast but are still the poorest team I've seen this year, Things change but I'm happy to have them on the bottom.

Swans are favourites for me

Weather forecast for Sydney on Sunday is rain.

For me, there is still that doubt about them away from GABBA against good opponents.
Yep wouldn't be getting $2.10 for Brisbane if it was at the GABBA, would Be getting around $1.40. Will be an interesting game.
