He is so far ahead of the pack but only gets 12 or 15 disposals so wont get a defender spot. Because everyone knows the best defenders can leak goals as long as they get 25 possies a game.

If he played those 4 games at his average he might be up around 57-59 goals. Academic because he didn't but he is in the conversation.

He does not get involved in score chains and get the ball to the advantage of his teammates, he does not win ruck contests, he does not directly lay off more goals than any other key forward as Hawkins does, and as we all know, taking a contested mark doesn’t add extra points to whatever happens when you dispose of the ball
