Dylan Parham, IOL, Memphis

Parham is an excellent athlete for his size, and played both G positions and RT in his 4-year starting career at Memphis. Projects to play C in the NFL though. Texans need to start solidifying the O-Line to play Hamilton football, so it wouldn't surprise me if they acted a little earlier than I am here.

With pick 69, the Jets select Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State

The Jets are pleased to see Trey McBride still available at the top of the third round, as they were seriously considering selecting him with one of their two second round selections. Although the Jets signed C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin as free agents just recently, the Jets cut Ryan Griffin so still have some need for a tight end.

In 2021, McBride was pretty much the be all and end all of Colorado State's passing offence, collecting 90 catches for 1,121 yards and one touchdown en route to winning the John Mackey Award for the nation's best top tight end, as well sa earning first team All-American honours. McBride entered the college system as a three-star recruit out of Fort Morgan High School in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and stayed local for college (although he almost left Colorado State in 2020). McBride was a stand-out high school baseball and basketball player but chose to stick with football.

McBride was used across the formation for Colorado State in 2021. He spent 80% of his time lined up inline, 12% as a big slot and 7% outside. He was also the back-side X in Colorado State's 3x1 packages.

McBride has demonstrated that he has the athleticism to be a producing tight end in the NFL, and while the Jets have strengthened their depth at tight end, they still have a need for someone who can catch passes as a tight end and act as a security blanket for sophomore quarterback, Zach Wilson. While he isn't elite as a blocker, he's adequate enough to the point that it's not going to be a signal that when he is on the field, it's going to be a passing down to the defence.

Although his athleticism is adequate, it isn't extraordinary and he will have to learn how to create separation at the catch-point in order to not have to win contested catches all the time. He's no Kyle Pitts in the sense that opposition defensive coordinators will have to sit safeties on him at this point in time, and his lack of touchdown production calls into question his capacity to produce as a red zone threat.

Jacksonville with 70th pick take

Jamaree Salywer - OL - Georgia - 6'2 - 320



Jamaree is a big body offensive lineman who is hard to move and gets to the next level. He has played all OL positions in his time with Georgia. Likely to move inside at the pro level to RG or LG will be a welcome addition to the Jacksonville O-line as they try to give TLaw time to throw.

With pick 71, the Chicago Bears select Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming

The Bears are switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defence, so they need to find players to fit the new roles in Matt Eberflus' defence. The Bears select Chad Muma to play middle linebacker in the defence. He has a nose for the tackle, having averaged 11 tackles per game over the last two seasons. This is probably too high for Muma in reality, but with the Bears not having a fourth round selection available to them and probably not enough resources to trade into the fourth round, the Bears' brains trust decide that it's probably better to over-draft someone than have regrets about missing out on him.

Tariq Woolen - CB - Texas-San Antonio

Corner is another position of need but there doesn't seem to be any left on the board that can come in and start right away. This is probably a bit of a reach and there are a couple of other corners I like better but they don't fit the mold of what Seattle likes in their corners. Woolen does at 6'4" and 205lbs and while he seems like more of a project player, corner is one position I would have faith in Seattle developing.

With Pick 74 Atlanta Falcons select Kingsley Enagbare EDGE South Carolina



I think this guy is perfect for Atlanta’s scheme and a steal here in the 3rd round. He is a long, explosive and versatile pass rusher who excels in pass rush. At 6’4” 265 he has the size to play DE but he plays lighter than that which will suit 3-4 DE in this scheme. He is very much a handful with speed and length on the edge and displays a good variety of moves. He also comes with position versatility, moving all along the line in college but I think 3-4 DE is his best spot. His production has been solid, in his junior year he finished with 6 sacks and 3 FF from his 8 games and last year had only 4 sacks but 45 pressures in his 12 games. He was also one of the standouts of the Senior Bowl where he destroyed O-lineman in practices constantly. At this point he does need to improve on his run defense to be a 3-down player but he has the size and willingness to be adequate in run defense. I think in the Gamecocks system which relies a lot on diagnosing the play he would get caught in bad leverage positions. All around happy to pick Enagbare in this spot.

I think the Broncos are a big chance to bring in a mid round RB to compliment Javonte. Spiller would be a good change of place and is good in the passing game.

Would give the Broncos another good option on Offence and keep Javonte fresh.

With the 76th pick, the Baltimore Ravens select Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma

The Ravens need to get younger and more athletic on the defensive line. Winfrey has the length to be a 5-tech in the base defense, but the skills to be a 3-tech on passing downs too. He's pretty raw, but his traits are hard to overlook here. Some mock drafts have him as a mid-2nd round pick, so getting him in the middle of the 3rd could be good value

With the 77th pick the Minnesota Vikings select, Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinatti

With Kirk Cousins potentially finishing with Minnesota next season, there needs to be a succession plan.

44 wins in College is no mean feet. Neither is a 30-8 TD to INT ratio last season for a QB with a great arm and size who projects as a dual threat qb at NFL level with 28 rushing TDs in his college career.

While Minnesota selected Kellen Mond last year, this pick provides higher prospects and ceiling in the QB room after Cousins. Feel the value is good in the mid 3rd round.

With Pick 78 the Cleveland Browns select Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC



Jackson has been a consistantly strong pass rusher in his time at USC and plays fast especially on off the ball plays. Jackson had 5 sacks in both full seasons he played (12 total in his college career) in addition to 25 tackles for loss.

Cleveland require depth and talent at the Edge position Jackson reads as good value here.

PICK #79 The LOS ANGELES CHARGERS SELECT

Jalen Wydermyer - TE - Texas A&M

TE was a need for the Chargers, despite signing Gerald Everett to a 2 year FA contract, and I'm sticking with the philosophy of adding young pieces on offense to support Herbert, while using FA to shore up the D.
Wydermyer provides the Chargers with a big, tall, strong target with a similar build to Kelce and Kittle.
He runs nice routes and is a solid run blocker. He needs to work on his speed, consistency and strength, but has time to build up to a pro level while Everett takes most of the reps. He tends to play up to the level of his QB and should become a nice security blanket for Herbert in time.

Rumours persist about Cooks being traded, and even if he isn't, Texans could do with a bit more early draft talent given apart from Cooks/Collins, they have a bunch of never-were re-treads at the position. Shakir has good speed and above average hands, probably not a top notch deep threat, but will be effective on short/intermediate routes with potential to break these into big TDs.

Blazing speed but suboptimal reading and reacting.

Hard to gauge how good most of these Georgia D players are given how good the team was. A team is going to back themselves to be able to develop him.

With Pick 82 Atlanta selects Jalen Tolbert WR South Alabama

With the glaring need at the position I think WR is a big double dip spot for the Falcons. Tolbert has been a productive receiver for the Jaguars in the last two seasons going over 1,000 in each (1474 from 12 games in 2021). He has really nice hands, good speed and a great catch radius on deep and intermediate routes. He can definitely improve as a route runner but I it's not a weakness, he has the ability to get open underneath and deep but lacks burst in and out of intermediate breaks. He projects to be a Z receiver in the NFL with scope to go inside after a bit of refinement in technique. The Sunbelt offensive player of the year in 2021 should help improve a bare WR corps in Atlanta.

Troy Andersen LB Montana

Another player who could play in different positions.

Troy Andersen is the most versatile player in the 2022 NFL Draft. He made a notable impact at Montana State as a quarterback, running back, and linebacker. At the next level, he is likely a linebacker but offers some appeal as a two-way player if a team wanted to create some packages for him offensively. When considering Andersen as a linebacker, his size, athleticism, urgency, and tackling skills make him an impact defender. He has true sideline-to-sideline range and is an explosive playmaker. He has easy movement skills in coverage and can serve as a matchup defender to play some man.

Patriots have lost a few OL men over the last few years this is a start to help Mack Jones stay upright going forward.
What Jurgens lacks in size he make up with in mobility and athleticism.

With the 86th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Bryan Cook, safety, Cincinnati.

Cook spent the first two years of his collegiate career as a corner at Howard University before transferring to Cincinnati and making the transition to safety. He is an extremely versatile defensive back - can play deep and in the box, or even in the slot in a pinch against bigger receivers. Cook should start from day 1 in Patrick Graham's scheme opposite 2nd year safety Tre'von Moehrig.

Williams was 2nd in sacks last season in the SEC, only behind future phenom Will Anderson.

With pick 89 the BUffalo Bills select Cole Strange, Guard, Chattanooga

Buffalo is in a strong position after improving team needs in rounds 1 and 2 they dont have many more holes to fill. Adding interior O line depth especially to help improve the running game would be a remaining desire.

at 6'6 300 pounds Strange showed great tape this year with examples of strength and athletisim.

With pick 90 Tennessee select, Calvin Austin III - Wide Receiver - Memphis

A speedy inside slot receiver who had 2 x 1000 yards seasons at Memphis (and 22 career TD's). Austin's small size would allow him to be used in multiple schemes likely on short inside passes, with likely double coverage on AJ Brown opening seems. For his size he is still a home run threat with an ability to blow by corners they dont get a press on contact

Tennessee has a need at receiver with Robert Woods unknown timetable, Currently the only WR starters wih experience are AJ Brown and Westbrook-Hine. Depth is important for Tennessee.

Austins 4.32 40 time at the combine turned heads. He could be a point of difference weapon to compliment the Titans Stars.
