Cripps overpolled, the whole Carlton side did for a team that finished 9th. Docherty, Walsh and Curnow also all did well.

Just to highlight this point

Carlton finished with 89 votes, Collingwood with 63

I had Crisp around 20, probably way too high, and finished on 11 to win (tie) the Magpie count….
