I think the Brownlow would be far most interesting if it were a 5 vote system and in that 5 votes there had to be votes given to at least 1 defender and 1 forward.

Too much emphasis on midfielders and not enough recognition for those that shut down opponents or keep an elite key forward to 1 goal.
