Not sure that's as big a slight as you think. His best was very good, would've been top 10 easily.

Cripps was definitely in the best few players for the year and it's often pretty toss of the coin so no issue with him winning in that sense, but after his hit on Ah Chee he shouldn't have been eligible. Simple.
