Grandparent/grandson:

Other:

Jye Lockett. (Nephew of Tony Lockett.)

Cooper Harvey (Brent).

Meant to go very well too.

I mentioned Scaife as a Freo NGA prospect earlier in the thread (192cm with a goal in each futures game he played, so I'm assuming he's a tall forward), but we also have Chase Bourne and Josh Draper. I know Draper is a ruck (186cm, needs a growth spurt to make it as a ruck), but I don't know where Bourne plays.
Draper is a hell of a lot taller than 186. I’d guess and say 194 or therabouts. Probably more a forward type Player than a true ruck. He’s a bit gentle (not sure if that is the correct word)- too nice maybe? Not a grunty type player but good at what he does. Should have made the state 16’s squad which starts training in a few weeks s
I haven’t seen the WA 16’s list as yet but I would be surprised if Chase Bourne makes it. Unremarkable futures campaign- Pretty small, plays on the wing.

I have a dilemma in seeing much in kids who are potentially fully grown yet still smallish at 16. I put Hagan in this boat. I watched a futures game he played in (Could have been the only one he played in) and I expected him to dominate. And he didn’t. I know he is finding the pill in Colts but if he doesn’t grow any more (and there’s a good chance at that as he is much taller than his Dad who is very short) I can’t see him starring at the next level. Even Colts is a weaker competition this year with nil PSA players each week playing. He has been a poster boy of the SSWA journey but there’s a huge difference between U15 and U18. He may get through on his name but I predict he will find it harder each year as the cohort he is up against getS bigger. His skills aren’t the very best and he has been developed like the small man he is since he was 12 or 13 so of course he was going to dominate during those years. I hope I’m wrong as it would be a great story for WA footy but I fear I’m not wrong.
WAFL Site lists him as 186cm, glad to be wrong however, 194cm at 16 is a great height. Played as a forward in his only colts game and got 2 goals.

Austin McDonald putting up some real strong performances in SANFL u/18 already. Brodie Tuck also from Centrals looks a good prospect playing 18s considering dec birth day as well so only 15 still.

Won’t be too hard, there will be enough from school footy last year and the practise matches at the start of the year

Only names I can think of off the top of my head are:

Elijah Tsatas.
Will Ashcroft.
Noah Long. (If he’s Victorian.)

Wouldn’t the school sports U15 Vic team be a starting point to look at some names?

I find their website near impossible to navigate, but some times I find some interesting rabbit holes while googling.

Ooof here we go, Sorry that it’s mostly Metro as I haven’t been able to catch all of them yet. The highlighted players are the names to keep a very keen eye on
