Keeler no chance to last that long, and talk is munkara might not either. I stated at the end of last year that munkara was going to be my favourite to watch this year, and although I only got 1 game in person it was exciting. Definitely needs to learn how to be a team player but the silk and moves and skills are undeniable. With what has happened this year he should easily make it past 40 but recruiters have long memories and know what he possesses in his toolkit. As I said, Keeler will not make it that far in the draft and talk has it that munkara might just not get there either, but then again he might. Borderline for him I think.
Keeler very late first round possibility but most likely early to late second, and munkara…with such a small draft expected this year…..30 onwards.

Looks like there is a top 30 then another 10 or so and it starts to drift away. Really slim pickings by the fifties let alone 40's

TIGERS’ PLANS WITH THIN HAND

Richmond might have the thinnest hand of this year’s draft, but the club is looking to add to its key-position stocks with one of its late picks, reports the Herald Sun.

The Tigers held four top-40 selections heading into the trade period, but the significant acquisitions of Giants on-ballers Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper has left the club with Picks 53 and 63.

The combined draft value index total of those two selections is 345 points — the lowest of all 18 clubs with Adelaide (683) and Port Adelaide (709) next best.

However the Tigers will be hopeful of finding another late bargain, like they did with premiership trio Kane Lambert (Pick 46, 2014), Nathan Broad (Pick 67, 2015) and Jack Graham (Pick 53, 2016).

The Herald Sun reported Richmond was keen to secure a tall forward with at least one of its two late picks in the national draft.
Most of this year’s best key-position prospects are defenders, but West Adelaide duo Harry Lemmey (199cm) and Tom Scully (202cm) could still be on the table after both were invited to the recent national draft combine.
Both players had subpar national championships campaigns, but impressed at various SANFL levels. Both players kicked three each across the Bloods’ two finals, while Scully booted 50 goals in the Under 18s competition.
“I’m not sure what will happen come draft time, but I think clubs should know that I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get there,” Lemmey told foxfooty.com.au earlier this month.
“I feel like throughout this whole age group, I’m one of the most driven and motivated people.
“If it’s Pick 1 or the last pick in the rookie draft, I’m going to do whatever it takes to become a successful player.”

it's crazy to me that Lemmey has gone from being ranked in the top 5/10 as recently as August and is now ranked all the way to the 40's/50's.
In no way shape or form was he rated in the top 10 in august unless it was by someone who has not watched any football. Nobody who goes to games and and posts big boards on here (big footy) had him in the top 10 in august.

Correct.
top 5
then about 17/18 battling out the rest of the first round
then you could throw a blanket over another 15/20
then slim pickings

Lambert was pick 46....in the rookie draft. Nice Work Fox :$

Isaac Keeler looks like a good prospect. Tied to Crows academy though so we'd need a pick inside 40.

Smythe has us taking Phoenix Foster in the bigfooty mock draft with our first pick. Big athletic lad who can take a contested mark. Looks like a nice set shot.

I don't rate him much.

Bit like Durdin that went to North, nothing outstanding I see. Bit of a classic inbetweener.

Players like these, you run for hills from.

A guy like Lewis Hayes is a far better prospect. There is daylight between the two in terms of movement.

Hayes first rounder, that's the difference, chalk and cheese.

I really think we are reaching even selecting in the fifties unless they have a diamond hidden away.

The might be one or two slip in the forties but very hard in the fifties. The better value would be to give to Brisbane for points I think and get 76 back with futures, put Miller and Biggy on the main list. Miller two years, Biggy one if can be done.
if RFC insist on taking a pick probably look for a medium or maybe a small in terms of value. Unless there is serious x factor they do not have much chance. Even a midget like Darcy Jones with a leap probably will not last to the fifties, some even speculated first round.

One can't write Lemmey off, and others, I am not nostradamus, but I would not pick them in the draft, rookie is a possibility if they get that far. When one takes into account he cap space for possible trades/FA next year and beyond using the picks seems a waste and counter productive

Our draft picks are not worth using as the draft is not that deep.
There is always late gems in any draft. Just have to find them. Short, Castagna, Lambert, Grimes etc didn't even get picked till the RD/PSD. Also, we have to use 3 picks as per the AFL rules.

Don't know much about Lemmey in terms of ability, but that's a champion attitude at least.

Really hope he's there at our pick.

Pheonix Foster (197cm 87kg) should be our target IMO.

11 games SANFL U/18s

Per game averages
13 disposals
4.3 marks
2.1 contested marks
2 frees against
0.7 frees for
2.3 goals
5.6 hitouts

Part of his write up on Draft Central

Foster's contested marking is his standout trait, which he uses to great effect both as a deep forward and as an option further up the ground. His size and athleticism make him a tough cover on the lead and he demonstrated an ability to consistently hit the scoreboard throughout his season in the SANFL Under 18 season.

Don't mind the sounds of Tom Scully either based on his stats at SANFL U18s

14 games

Per game averages
11.4 disposals
6.1 marks
2.7 contested marks
0.6 frees against
1.1 frees for

Part of his write up on Draft Central

He also averaged 2.8 contested marks per game, but tended to juggle them under opposition pressure or go to ground.

With a bit more meat on his bones and a touch of mongrel, reeling in those marks one-touch will become easier. Against his peers, Scully is good enough on the lead with handy mobility for a player his size, but has often leant on his reach advantage to compound his aerial impact, and thus scoring opportunities.
3.6 goals

Looks like its Foster, purely based on his free for/against numbers ;) :tonguewink:

I would re-draft RCD and Stack.
