Well we now have some latish picks to play with.
Given so much tall talent in 2021 didn't come on for 2022, maybe there are a few that have genuine talent and we can develop them (Although our track record of developing KPFs isn't great)

There are a couple of tall SA lads that may drop to the 50s - Scully & Keeler
With Soldo staying maybe they just go best available ?
53 / 63.. good result
Lemmy & Knobel would be fantastic result and positionaly exactly what we needGotta take 3 in the National Draft, with rookie upgrades counting as a pick.
We'll upgrade Pickett for sure. Maybe Miller, maybe Stack. Upgrade all three, and we won't use our picks. I think we can leave Miller on the rookie list this year? I'd rather upgrade Stack than take a speculative 18 year old.
So if I was list manager, I'd take the best available tall forward. They will be raw, and low chance of getting to AFL level, but there are some who've shown something as a junior that will be available - one of Lemmey, Scully and Foster will probably be there.
Loved Knobel's year, but I reckon we're right for rucks. Ditto Northam. Keeler is the pick of those mentioned in the thread, IMO, but I'd be surprised if he gets to #51 - and again, more ruck than forward, so needs to learn a lot of forward craft, as well as all the other development.
Munkara is another one who might slide. Who knows. Not a tall forward but jeez he'd be fun.
Assuming we take two players in the draft.
Also assuming that our recruitment team will have them ranked them as "top 20" talent and "we were really surprised when he was still available at our pick" and "we couldn't call his number quickly enough" despite taking 5 minutes to discuss it as a group.
So, we get Hopper + Taranto plus 2x top 20 draft picks. Amazing work RFC!
With Soldo staying, I would prefer we go for key position players rather than a ruck.Lemmy & Knobel would be fantastic result and positionaly exactly what we need
Doubt Lemmy is still available at our pick though
Knobel would also be great and ready in 4 years time when Nank is finishing up and Soldo already gone to another club
Keeler is Adelaide academy so we'd be relying on them letting him go through to the keeper to pick him up.There are a couple of tall SA lads that may drop to the 50s - Scully & Keeler
He will be taken before 40Keeler is Adelaide academy so we'd be relying on them letting him go through to the keeper to pick him up.

Ruckman/key forward who looked an outstanding prospect in 2021, showing great mobility and strength overhead. Unfortunately, he was injured early in the 2022 NAB League season and played only two matches. Clubs have continued to monitor his recovery and he received an invitation to the 2022 NAB AFL State Draft Combine in Victoria. Is the son of former Australian cricketer Matthew Elliott.
You always need a developing Ruckman specially on the rookie listOne thing we do not need is a ruck, don't need a small forward either
