Yes. I could have my numbers wrong. But I thought we were now down to 31 on the senior list - not including Noble - meaning we still need to add four more to the senior list after Noble to make the minimum? Could upgrade another rookie - but I don't see why they'd put Murley onto the rookie list and then upgrade a rookie who doesn't need upgrading - it'd be a strange pointless thing to do.Isn’t Noble still on the rookie list?
GCS would have been interested assuming Fiorini had left and therefore created a list spot.Yep. Interesting stuff. Wasn't there interest in Poulter from Suns, could of got him a new home and gotten something in return![]()

Anyone who believes Jefferson’s body type will make it doesn’t pay too much attention. He’ll be harder to turn into a KPF than McMahon was. Way too slight and not even big enough. If he was 200cm maybe there would be something to work with. At 195cm. No thanks.

I suspect it did hurt.
I think you missed my dumb joke.Could slip all the way to #17 then, that’s a shame. Nasty injury.

Jack Gunston was 191cm and 74kg when he was drafted... Not every player needs to be a 95kg 18 year old to be able to kick goals at AFL level.Sounds like Jarrad Grant.
But, everyone wants a contested marking beast, Jefferson isn't that. The issue isn't whether or not he might be able to kick goals in the future, it's if he's going to be the number one big strong KF that everyone wants. I have no problem taking him with our first pick but not as the hulking version of Hawkins that everyone expectsJack Gunston was 191cm and 74kg when he was drafted... Yes I don't see him being there, hoping for Lemmey at 27Unlikely Jefferson will fall to us anyway. Plenty of clubs above us will grab him. Dees is one I can imagine.

Why does he have to be Tom Hawkins for people to want him as a player? But, everyone wants a contested marking beast, Jefferson isn't that. Preach! There is some bizarre posting going on. Matt Jefferson isn't Tom Hawkins and that's the reason he shouldn't be highly rated I mean that makes no sense whatsoever. Harry Lemmey however is tall and has filled out, maybe familiarise yourself with the term limited upside. Why does he have to be Tom Hawkins for people to want him as a player?
I'm pretty sure we'd all take Bayley Fritsch in our forward line and he averages under 10 disposals a game and is absolutely no Tom Hawkins.
Sure, having a big hulking forward is important, but so is having a natural forward who knows how to get goals on the board.
And taking Jefferson doesn't mean that he's the only forward we're allowed to have in the team for the next 10 years.
Fritsch is the best kick for goal in the competition. Jefferson is a woeful one. That is why Fritsch can be such a damaging low-possession forwardWhy does he have to be Tom Hawkins for people to want him as a player?

Words to live by.I'm going to back him in if we pick him and consider him a dud if we don't.
Couldn't agree more. Just about my favourite player in this draft. If the Eagles are mad enough not to take him at 12 and he somehow gets to us I'd be over the moon.Elijah Hewett is a first class stud. If that kid is around at our pick 16. I don’t care if they don’t take any others.

Maybe he shouldn’t. Change it up dekka.Thats what he said in his road to the draft podcast interview.

Levers & you best believe we will pull them.Maybe he shouldn’t. Change it up dekka.![]()
Got news for you, Jefferson will go in the first round and Keeler and Lemmey won't because one, he's a much better player and two, he has produced, have a look at the AA team. And playing the championship decider with a fracture in his leg didn't hurt either.
