He's a crouch cloneWhat exites you about D'Aloia? Seems to me he can't spread and that kicking is awful, straight legged and stabby. He'll slip past our picks and right to the end of the draft.

Is 25 and 27 for their 22 and a future 2nd a good outcome for us? Gives them enough points after matching a Davey bid to get another player inside 30.
any chance SA clubs have asked Lemmey to take it easy this year, with guarantee that they will pick him up. He has dropped off a bit in people's ratings, and I cant help thinking that this must happen with some interstate prospects....
ie is he better than the 20 - 30 range that he is now in
Not IMO.
He’s been very underrated personally.
I’m not sure other than Ashcroft any other draftee has put in the performances of D’Aloia this year. Particularly since he played against men in the SANFL reserves for a fair portion of the year.
I know Clark has been compared to Selwood. But I also see a lot of Selwood in Adam. He’s supposedly got excellent leadership qualities too.
Just have a look at the below little clip and you can see the way he is able to work through traffic in congestion.
If we didn’t just get Mitchell I would have been keen on us taking him with one of our 20’s picks, but now he’s not so much a need.
We traded our future first in 2020 on draft night.can future picks now be traded on draft night?
KPPs aren't always in the top ten of their draft class but still go on to play very well. Mitch Lewis was a throwaway pick in the 70s but has cracked Hawthorn's team. Lemmey's weaknesses can be fixed with the right environment but it seems almost certain (from various things I've heard) we'll be taking at least one of Lemmey, Keeler or Barnett.Lemmey has dropped a long way, given almost a year ago he was in the top 10 prospects

I think they only closed the loop when you're trading in and out of the exact same pick.
We would be trading them pick 27 first and then pick 25 in that particular scenario. Both of which they never had.
He has a ... basketball background. Utah Jazz fan apparently and has tipped Golden State to defend their title.Like to be our first if he’s available

GC will be taking minimal picks. If they wanted players from this draft they wouldn’t have traded all their early picks away. No chance they’ll suddenly want to trade back in to the second round. Melbourne maybe.I hope they only use 16 and 25… and then trade 27 out for a future 2nd…. then finally upgrade Noble
Important to get back into next years draft…
Now with Grundy and Henry gone there isn’t much of expendable but high value left to sell next year… so trading back into the 2023 draft is crucial imo
GC and Melbourne perhaps two clubs that may be interested in pick 27… as they both have several projected top 40 picks in 2023, but minimal picks inside top 40 this year…![]()
You mean giving melbourne back 27 that they gave us for grundy lol Only at collingwood.I hope they only use 16 and 25… and then trade 27 out for a future 2nd…. then finally upgrade Noble

Even if Bombers make the top 8 next year it should be worthwhile if we effectively upgrade pick 25 to 22 this year and swap 27 for their second round next year. They closed the loophole when a club tries to park a higher pick with another club (meaning they can match a bid with later picks) and then essentially receive a similar pick back in return in a subsequent trade.
You're right though in that this isn't the same thing because they'd still have to use 27 and 51 in the bid match anyway, but having said that I'd be a bit nervous about the Bombers pushing for a top-8 spot again next year (assuming the other Scott can get back to being a semi-competent coach), so they're probably one of the teams I wouldn't want to be playing future-pick roulette with.
The players I want or will be suited to our picks in the National or rookie draft.
