Far out Sheezel is a ballsy pick!! If he doesn't turn into a mid what is his ceiling Luke Breust. Luke Bruest is a gun but you probably want to aim a little higher with pick three in the draft. At least I would want Geelong to.

All these clubs saying they would like to trade up... how is it going to be archived when they did not do when they had a chance in trade period. Maybe in draft when a specific player is gone or available .

Why is there a gap between the trade period an the draft ..seems like trades would have more chance if a full trade period was open till the draft?

The Combine was delayed this year so clubs haven't really had a good look at them until middle of trade period and they couldn't do interviews until after trade period in any case. Clubs are more likely to over pay on a draft pick on draft night too.

Not trolling here but is Breust actually a small forward? I mean I know he is small and a forward but to me he seems a bit more of a really short key forward rather than a genuine small forward, at least with how he plays.

Depends on your definition of small forward. In his prime averaged 4-5 tackles a game and kicked a lot of goals off ground ball pickups and snaps. I think he probably qualifies but I know what you are saying as he was also a good lead up set shot goal kicker too. Regardless of labelling an absolute star integral to our success.

The trade radio product doesnt have to run...or even be listened to. Why not have the draft at the end of the trade period..when ever that is.... having trade up to the draft. As it is ...clubs wanting to move have only the picks they have to try to manufacture a trade.

Probably what clubs would call a hybrid forward ie able to crumb and kick goals and also get hit up on the lead

Not a rumour, but a fact:

Carlton have told Jed Buslinger that they won’t be drafting him.

I don't believe this would be factual at all, no need to even tell the player that information at pick 10, very different if it was pick 1 and you had discussions with 2-3 players.
I would strongly believe we would not even decided yet, but still have a shortlist of 3-5 on that list, pretty certain he would be one of the five.
