It’s arguable, but until Stephenson went off the rails, he was the standout of his draft. I don’t think you can definitively say that Naughton was blatantly overlooked just because he was from WA.
We’ve drafted one player out of WA in 7 years. Do you disagree that it’s decent evidence that the club doesn’t put much time into the WAFL colts?

Kinnear Beaston predicting there’s going to be live trading in the top 10 and that it’s going to be a long night.

Says they rate 7 above the rest and that they’re going to offer up 14 and 17 to clubs inside 10 to get their hands on one of them

Could see WC being very open to that, with so many West Aussies in the mix in that 12-17 range.

3 picks inside 17 would give them an excellent and much-needed injection of youth.

I presume he means Melbourne would acquire a second first round pick to tie Barnett, as he’d be a certainty to be available at their current first
Makes sense 4 and 22 for 13 and 2 future firsts

Who do Melbourne pick? Is is tsatas? Do they think their midfield is too much alike or that Luke Dunstan is wasted as a reserve so they want him to play, plus another different type of midfielder ( assuming tsatas is different to the somewhat similar Oliver, petracca, Dunstan).
Or is it to play Petraccs forward to rescue their somewhat pedestrian forward line

Depends what they want I would keep 13 and going Jefferson

At 4 they could add Tsatas Ginbey or Humphries

If we assume suns are taking Humphrey at 6 then if your trading up your after that player otherwise you could pay less for pick 7 and still potentially get your player
