Bulldogs very interested in Brayden George (from AFL article).
How's that for an attempted rumour?

Interestingly, the Bulldogs had 9 people in their meeting with him (pipped by Adelaide who had 10!)

I once had an interview where there were 4 people on the panel and that was scary enough. Imagine being interviewed by 10 people.

These are 18 year old kids too so I can understand if some kids fluff their interviews (e.g. the rumours about Phillipou dropping after interviewing poorly)

Sydney rumours, if they can't trade up for Humphrey, they seem keen on Cowan and Barnett

WCE rumours, they seem to be keen on Kaleb Smith with pick 26

GWS rumours, they are keen on Charlie Clarke with a late 1st rounder

Clarke makes sense for gws given a need for small forwards as does barnett (syd need a ruck hickey is ageing).

Ginbey is a media smoke screen IMO.

Great combine results but not much exposed form. A tough competitor who is improving at the right time but needs to work on his kicking.
Who do you think you'll target? Plenty of mids in the range of both of your early picks, and Busslinger is still rated highly

Isn't this your first pick inside the top 10 for a decade? I suspect Geelong's team is really keen to take it to draft
We selected Nakia Cockatoo at pick 10 in the 2014 draft.

Before that was Joel Selwood at 7 in 2006.

From an article in the Herald Sun:

TALL MID WOULD BE ‘GOOD FIT’ FOR PIES

Collingwood is keeping close tabs on Dandenong Stringrays ball-winner Henry Hustwaite, who shapes as a potential first-round draft pick.

A 194cm midfielder who has some similar traits to Scott Pendlebury, Hustwaite has links to the Magpies as the brother of Collingwood VFL co-captain Campbell.

“He’s one the last couple of years that has come from nowhere with a growth spurt and he’s learned to play inside mid and down back,” Stingrays coach Nick Cox said.

“He doesn’t have the power and the numbers running-wise as what some of the others do, but he just keeps finding the ball and uses it really well, particularly with his hands.”

Hustwaite impressed across four games for Vic Country in the under-18 national championships, averaging 20.8 disposals and 97 ranking points.

“He would be a good fit for Collingwood,” one opposition club recruiter said.

“He’s not overly quick but he’s got classy hands that can release from stoppage and the Pies have got enough running power on the outside now.

“It just makes sense.”

Collingwood currently holds picks 16, 25, 27 and 51 in this year’s draft.

There was a link to a podcast in that article, any chance you can find it for me please.

Alright I've cleaned out the general pick swap chit chat, there's a thread for hypothetical trades here;

And the main trade board has individual threads for discussion on each team, this thread isn't the place for either of those discussions, keep it to rumours/ discussion around rumours rather than "I'd hate if my club did that trade" or "Would three toe nail clippings, a luke warm meat pie and Pick 53 for Pick 4 be fair?"
