Top 4 as is, rest

Suns : Hump
Haw : Mackensie
Cats : Tsatas
WCE : Ginbey

Dogs: Busslinger
WCE: Allan
Dees: Jefferson

Interesting is if Pick 7 is Tsatas( hawks or Dees)
then how would rest go.

Cats with pick 8 will be ??? Allan or Clark instead of Tsatas
If it is Allan,
then who does Saints pick? Mackensie or clark

Then who does WCE pick Mackensie or Clark or Jefferson

They’re the first ones with Jhye Clark sliding a bit.

I’m a bit surprised it’s taken so long. Of the presumed top 10 he’s the one I thought would have been most likely to slip a bit. Maybe it’s just the Geelong connection.

I wonder if it will be possible to get two first rounders for picks 14 and 17.

14 is definitely possible but 17 is a bit more up in the air, though I find live trading during the draft teams often pay a little more if they want a specific player and that player is available.

It was said during the week that GWS could get Melbourne's future 1st for pick 19 this year.

Last year you went

2 West Aussies in the Mid year draft
4/5 West Aussies in the main draft
2/4 West Aussies in the supplementary draft
And in 2021 the borders were closed and very little top end U18 football played outside WA and SA.

Eagles first pick in 2021 draft - Chesser (Victoria)
Eagles held the No.1 pick in the mid season draft - Culley (Victoria)

The later in the draft, the more even the more likely we go local.

First time in recent history I recall 4 picks for us inside 26. Top end is less about local

He’s a gun. Just sliding because he is on the smaller side of the other prospects. Be happy with him at the saints. Got some real mongrel about him

Suits Carlton though they need wingmen I mean come off it when Cottrell is a starting wingman…
Tough two way running wingers like Cottrell have their place in modern football even despite their shortcomings skill wise. Most sides will play 3 or 4 wingers and he provides a point of difference defensively

Exactly.

2014 our first pick was Vic, 2015 was SA, 2016 Vic, 2017 NSW, 2018 Vic, 2020 SA, 2021 Vic.

How do you mean? They are pretty late picks, if you packaged them together id say its likely you may get a high first and a mid second.

I think it's definitely possible, Carlton and Melbourne both sound interested, but you might have to give something small back to make it work.

Cottrell is pretty limited but much harder at the ball than Dylan Stephens, who is pretty soft.

Amazing he went at Pick 5 really.

He’ll be better when he moves inside but I agree with you
