Then we can trade with Saints who have 47, give them F4 and Lions gain extra points as well. Effectively pick remains a 47 for Saints.
Can offer GC, the same at 45 too, will be only a 1 pick slide as Crows pick 46 will get used up.

or just trade with crows 46+56+59( 683pts) for 48+52+63 ( 687pts)

or 56+59( 352pts) for 52+63 ( 358pts)

Quite a few options to get around the pick 48 issue.

Crow’s would be your best move.

Good see Davey being picked at his right spot, Fletcher seems too high. What do they know, we don't.

Will Don trade 22 out on that bid, with whom?

Any of North, Eagles, Gold Coast, Crows, Saints, Blues, Hawks, Dees, Swans, Dogs

North i dont think are looking to take any more players in this draft then what they currently have so seem unlikely

Swans F2 is probably too late

Dogs have lions F2 which is too late

Gold Coast dont appear to be using any more than 1 pick and maybe prefer picks for points next year

Crows traded out of a similar pick but could enter back in after a Michallany bid is done

Id say the 3 most likely are Saints, Blues and hawks. Saints and blues have made it clear they want another pick inside 30.

Saints loom as most likely it appears. We would also want extra points for this year if that were to occur

He’s got way more leg speed from stoppage than parish. Tsatas is far from vanilla.

While watching Martin play colts I felt that he didn't tackle enough to go beyond WAFL league. I acknowledge his skill but tackling counts and I wonder has he sorted that out?

I don't understand why they keep linking Gruzewski to us, especially when Hotton/Burgiel/Jones all seem around the mark. He's not a player of need as a backman, unless we're really confident in his future as a Gunston-esque forward. Hotton is just such a great prospect, I'd hate to see us pass him up.

Hotton, Burgiel, Jones or Smith are great options with our 2nd pick, they linked us with Bazzo last year, things change.

Hotton, Burgiel, Jones or Smith are great options with our 2nd pick, they linked us with Bazzo last year, things change.

I just really want the Mackenzie-Hotton connection to keep up (if Tsatas isn't available, mind you). They worked so well in the Champs and through the NAB league.

Carlton should ask for a future fourth as we don’t benefit at all from it.

Except for moving up 1 pick for free. God I doubt pick 49 will ever be discussed this much in all future drafts…

It’s very tempting, especially if we’re taking Tsatas over Phillipou. If we where 100% taking Phillipou I’d say no, but because it seems like it’s Tsatas, I’d definitely consider it.
Because in my mind, A.Davey feels like a bonus second round pick this year so 22 being apart of the deal doesn’t feel as significant. Plus having pick 13 we could go Hewett, would solve a need for us. Then there is the two future first round picks, which is in a strong draft and even if it’s pick 17 and 18, it’s not too bad considering if parish leaves, and we finish 15th again, it’s another top 5 pick.
Ultimately, we could solve most of our holes on our list and just focus on free agency and trades after next year.

Yep 22 to 13 upgrade and 2 picks in the teens isnt enough for a top 5pick.

Yeah that’s fair enough. It probably comes down to what you think you can get for 22 as a stand alone trade

This mock draft is probably the worst ever.

I’m not sure why anybody bothers talking and predicting the draft when they could just consult eth-dog who knows exactly what will happen

Beatson just said that he rates 7 players in this draft who he thinks are going to be top AFL players and the next group is another 10 players but after that the draft evens out for quite a while.
