Makes sense, not trying to criticise.
How many WA players have we drafted since then? I remember Acres, is there many others?

With Taranto & possibly Hopper leaving, would think Wardlaw for GWS. Still can't believe that Cadman won't be at North. Phillipou looking more & more likely for the Saints. With all the proposed pick swaps end game is looking like
1. Lions - Ashcroft Bid*
2. GWS - Cadman
3. North - Wardlaw
4. North - Sheezel
5. Ess - Tsatis
6. GC - Humphrey - (Rankine Replacement)
7. Haw - McKenzie or Phillipou or Jefferson
8. Geel - Clarke
9. WC - Ginbey or Buslinger
10. StK - McKenzie or Phillipou
GWS seem driven to get pick one to ensure they can pick Cadman before North
North get Wardlaw and either Sheezel or Tsatis with Ess taking the one left
Humphrey makes sense for GC they lost their wildcard Forward/Mid in Rankine
Hawks are the unknown their board is hot for McKenzie but he is a lot like Ward and Connor Macdonald, Phillipou would be a point of difference and add size and ability to go forward seems a better fit to me. Jefferson might appeal given Gunston is gone and they went mids last year.
Geelong are apparently in love with Jhye Clarke
Presume part of WC being prepared to slip down the order is to get two of the WA kids Buslinger Ginbey or Hewett they are going to be crap for a while interstate kids are going to be a big risk of going home. On the flip side they have no history of favouring WA kids so could surprise and stick with a best available approach need players all over the ground.
Leaves us with whoever the Hawks don't pick hopefully McKenzie but I would be fine with Phillipou. Don't think Jefferson fits for us.
In really like the look of him. Seems to fit a need as a bigger mid/forward. Looks clean and has strong hands. With Taranto & possibly Hopper leaving, would think Wardlaw for GWS. Still can't believe that Cadman won't be at North. Phillipou looking more & more likely for the Saints.
Everyone has behavioural issues just depends on whether you see them as desirable, manageable or unpalatable.Wasn't there talk of Phillipou having behavioural issues in sa? I thought there was something about him?

I heard from my reliable source that when the club spy scouts peeped in his bedroom window, the bed wasn't made , even though it was well after lunch time.
He'd also left his pyjama's on the floor.
Twomey has him at the end of Top 30Have no idea of his draft range but Darcy Jones running a 7.70 agility is insane.

I’m really high on Jefferson. Something about him. Think he’s mercurial. Can do some pretty incredible things. Just doesn’t have the massive numbers like key forwards of previous years.I have a feeling Jefferson is our man. Cmac likely to be swooped by the hawks with Clark going to Geelong. Gold Coast is the tricky one at 5 I reckon they could go for Humphrey at 5 as that bit of X factor. I highly doubt we would pick the WA boys hewwet or busslinger with ginbey tipped to go to the eagles if they trade down the order. With Phillipou being a go home factor risk and our recruiting team coming out saying we need support for max it leads to Jefferson if the likes of cmac and Humphrey are taken. I would prefer cmac as I think he’s going to be a star but it’s wishful thinking with Humphrey a second preference but I see some upside in jeffo
Except he has been playing awesome footy aswellHah I love the combine test stars. Marvyn Baynham who had the standing vertical jump record. Kyron Hayden in the running vertical jump. Joel Wilkinson or our own Jono Marsh in the 20m sprint. Armo is in the top 10 all time for agility! Billy Hartung's beep test.
So many athletic marvels who never went on to be anything.
