Humphrey crashes a pack to good effect > McKenzie spears in the chaos ball to the most dangerous spot > Jefferson roves beautifully for a big lad and kicks a ripper.

It’s not a half bad draft this.

Too early for me to make the "career" call on Rowell and Walsh, but I think Reid is every chance to be the best number 1 pick since Goddard.

Tsatas is BOG to me. McKenzie very vanilla, does everything well but just not much production or X factor. Cadman the best of the talls IMO. Sheezel will be a star but didn't show much, same with Humphrey.

Reid and Watson look as good as any of the guys available this year.

Tsatas looked average early but showed his class as the game went on.

I was a little surprised to see Ashcroft named BOG

McKenzie didn't get heaps but he looked very classy when he did. He's gone up in my books over the last two weeks. He looks more Pendlebury type than I first thought.

Sheezel showed a but when the game was on the line late

Cadman will be a star but I was also impressed with Jefferson

Binns is one we should be looking at with a later pick. Probably goes into 2nd round contention after that game.

Today didn’t really push anyone down for me.

Really like the look of Edmonds

Regarding the top players
Ashcroft still the stop. I think because he’s been so consistently dominant we forget how good he is.

Humphrey could be anything but the kicking technique is a real concern. The ball drop is just too high.

I think he’s closer to 190 then 185.

Bins looks like a monster runner.

Sheezel watched a lot of and honestly it’s all moments with him. Could’ve had 5 goals but ended with just two.

Hayes - I’m really building up to. I think he’s got some incredible athletic traits. Some of his balance for a big man is crazy.

Drury and Charlie Clark I see both as enigmas. In my head dryer could be a really solid contributor but I could also see him missing out.

Clark I see some Awsome characteristics but also some worrying signs.

Tsatas- honestly I didn’t notice him and then saw him have 15 at HT. Had the same thoughts a couple weeks ago.

Loved McDonald’s dash. Showed some Awsome afl level speed.
