Not sure if it's been discussed but would it be worth trading our future 1st to get another pick in this year's draft and 12 months under RTB?

Try and grab say 14 from the Swans? Or add in pick 32 for picks 18+19 from the Giants?

If Ginbey is gone by the time West Coast takes their first pick I don’t think they will pick up Busslinger just because he is a WA boy.

They will back themselves in and take best midfielder available, IMO.

Probably won’t be a popular opinion but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we look at a tall with our first pick considering we got Nas, Wind & Mitch last year. The chance of that happening increases significantly if we get another first round pick IMO. Buss or Jefferson might be on our radar especially if we get that second first rounder.

Well we could’ve moved heaven and earth to get pick 7 from the Suns and possibly secured both but we weren’t interested in that.

Especially with Adams. I don't see the point in another skinny defender just a year younger, if we think Adams is a good chance of making it.
If that's the case we are probably better off looking at more mature Phillips, with our 3rd ( a bit early maybe ) or 4th.

If Keeler was still there for our second it might be a good choice.

Unless you had the psychic insight to know a year ahead of time before Geelong found out and put months of work into Bowes and the strings to pull for plenty of under the table freebies for players and their families that Geelong has then you'de be better just getting over it as we were never going to get Bowes and 7.

Given everything RTB has said so far about the list and the basic plan, we are gonna be running... A LOT.

Any newbies that want a look in are gonna need to be putting up some serious 2km numbers and shuttle runs.
