If a top talent fell.If we think Bytel and Byrnes can help with the inside work Tsatas might be an option.
CMac is my first pick, Phillipou next, but I wont be upset if RTB wants us to run and run and run and run all game long leading to us drafting Tsatas.
That’s the AFL for you. Father sons, priority picks, academies, there’s draft compromises everywhere.Could be, Fletcher might also get bid on higher.
Either way it seems a pointless system where you can trade away your first round pick and then go into deficit the equivalent of a first (or second) round pick to get two first round picks.

It’s hard to argue not taking him and being Hawthorn/Geelong who are wedded to other kids.
If he is as good as advertised on the outside. There should be plenty of scope as an inside mid.
Gives me Sam Walsh vibes.

22 for 47 and a Future 2nd?I'd love to get our hands on Essendon pick 22 - might be open to trading it since the Davey bid is currently expected in the late teens - to get Charlie Clarke to fill the small forward gap we have.
Not disagreeing, but it is a small sample sizeTurns it over a lot
YesSo is Tsatas better than Cmac?
Not for mine I’m going McKenzie everytime.

Agreed. Not for mine I’m going McKenzie everytime.
Fair enough. Not for mine I’m going McKenzie everytime.
Just had my first proper look at a few vids and around our pick l think Cmac is definitely the one. I'd be happy that we just took our picks and offered a lifeline to a couple of the young DFA's.
I’m struggling to think of who he reminds me of. What do you see as his ceiling?Fair enough.
You would definitely be in the minority though. Most draft watchers have him in the top 2-4 bracket.
I think he has more upside than McKenzie
I think they'd want something in the 30s come back for points.22 for 47 and a Future 2nd?
Cmac plays with real intensity which seems to be the most translatable quality.Fair enough.

Looking at his highlights, he doesn’t look a very good kick to me. Covers ground well but prefer the look of the names we have already been talking about. All I read about Tsatas is that he’s the best loose ball getter/outside accumulator in the draft which is not what you want to hear from a top 10 pick. Give me the contested ball winners.
Dogs fans are pretty keen to use their first few picks this year. Their top end is great but the bottom 4 in their best 22 are consistently very average. Bevo loves a limited VFL player which drives their fans crazy.Dogs also have a great list and could be keen to get picks for next year. Could end up with a huge suite of first rounders in next year's superior draft.
What’s an easier fix?Turns it over a lot
Simply? Class in disposal.Over Tsatas?
Why?

That fox footy article implies both would be available at our pick with Phillipou going 5 and Humphrey to the Hawks.Simply? Class in disposal.
We need that more than anything else.
That's exactly how I would describe Tsatas to be honest. Seem to will himself to every contest and more often than not ends up with the footyCmac plays with real intensity which seems to be the most translatable quality.
I can see some appeal in the others though.
He reminds me of a Dangerfield type. Competitive, works hard, finds heaps of the footy. He can be messy with his disposal but he's got break away speed at a stoppage.I’m struggling to think of who he reminds me of. What do you see as his ceiling?
I like to watch the games myself, I tend to treat what many others say as fan fiction. I know he’s had injury problems but honestly the highlights show what I saw. He was underwhelming, missed targets by hand and was sloppy by foot and didn’t display great decision making etc. If people are worried about humphrey’s disposal this kid would give you nightmares. If he was the ducks nuts he wouldn’t slide to us it’s that simple. Mckenzie on the other hand has been nothing but impressive on just about every occasion I’ve seen him.Fair enough.
