You say that like you’re on the coaching staff, you don’t know what his development will look like in 6 months.. No one thought Windy would be in centre bounces this year the night of the draft.
Phillipou is the ultimate high bust/high potential player of this draft.

If he was a consistent day 1 mid - do you believe there would be any hope of him being available at 10? Clubs would be talking about him as a top 3 pick.

If we land him. He will need time. That’s a pretty obvious observation

They've sacked most of the last lot of recruiters. This is Toce's first draft. He needs to get this right. That looks like a great haul but giving up future picks is not a great idea IMO.
Super draft next year. A lot of good talented kids coming through.
Plus 300 players coming out of contract next year.
I’m hoping Finn Callaghan comes back home. 🤞🏼

Heard he got lapped by several players in the Combine 2k. Was a loooooooooong way off it.
He’s a ruck forward. I’m not sure I could care less about his 2k time.

Can he move, mark, kick and tap? That’s what I’m interested in.

Swing him through hb and mid. Let him run and carry with the ball and show off his skills.
Like what Collingwood did with Diacos

To me the Pou suits what the Bombers need more than any of the others. I can't see how they don't take him. I reckon Zsa Zsa will be the slider (sorry dard 🤪)
I heard at the Bombers interview Phillipou and Dodoro spent the whole time talking about themselves.

The hun not going well in predicting outcomes at present.

They thought Matthew Guy was going to be Premier today ffs. It's not even good enough to wipe your arse with.

If we do take the pou with our pick is it worth also potentially looking at keeler with our second/third pick and even D'aloia later on to help with retention? would be used to playing with each other and might help NWM feel more comfortable as well. Obviously would depend on best available at the time, but if I remember earlier this year D'aloia was touted as top 15 pick, captained SA's under 17's and for all money looked as though would be a guaranteed first round pick.

I don't think he has high bust factor compared to others. Humphrey and Tsatas look more boom bust to me. Phillipou looks like at least a GOP at AFL level. The rest is up to him and the footy gods. He could easily start as a forward with short runs on ball for a couple of years.

Yea I don’t think he’s high boom bust. I reckon I’ve incorrectly labeled him that myself. I think the risk is whether he becomes a semi permanent mid or a utility unable to nail down a permanent spot. At worst maybe a decent enough flanker I suppose.

If he doesn’t become a mid and becomes an average flanker. He will have become a bust.

He has broken the top 10 because of his potential to become a genuine mid at his size - with everyone labelling him a Bont clone.

That’s his appeal.

We need to Remember, he will be taken at 10.

Not at 24/36/42 etc etc. You would have expectations as a fan the player we take is a very good footballer.
