Whoever we draft everyone needs to remember they are just a 17/18 year old kid trying to make it in the AFL and they don't choose who drafts them. Some of them might even read this forum so try to be kind!

This. They are just kids. This talk about Phillipou being a FIGJAM is extremely unfair. Just heard him and he seems confident, but also well spoken and a nice kid. Is only 17. Wish i could talk like that at 17.

On the Pou, hopefully he doesn't go to a shittruck club like Essendon

So far the only thing i saw that made me look twice was his comments about being built for Melbourne (and big games). Given the first SA pick isnt until 30 odd i think hes just fluffing his bed really...

FWIW St Kilda like Mackenize, Poo and Clark at their pick, they think Tsatas will be gone.
Also Gallagher will have a new boss in Roughy next year.
Edit: just looked back through this thread, Clark the one not mentioned by Gaggs.

So no longer looking (or haven't been able to get) another pick in the first round but still looking at getting an early second rounder tomorrow.

Not sure how that could work - maybe GWS Pick 19 for Pick 28/32 and next years 3rd???

If the pou is gone by our pick I’d go to Sydney trade back for their 14/18 combo for our 10 + 28. Take Hewett/ Busslinger. Then target Darcy Jones at 32 get 3 WA boys all in together for some unity potentially and let them grow together

After seeing Cripps and Ledger I still have PSTD about relying on West Australian 18 year olds. Even more so for a group of them.

Between picks 14-19, the only one that wouldn't really be on the table is the Pies pick at 16

I'll be surprised if at least 2 picks in that bracket are not traded

I think we are one of the most likely clubs to be doing a deal with one of those picks

Yeah in a way we can't go wrong because we just take the one that slides. Essendon are under a lot more pressure to nail their pick.

agree. missing out on hewett would suck, finishing at the bottom of the ladder next year and not having a first round pick would really suck
