If, and it's a big if, a club is able to get that pick from the Bombers, I'd suggest that Bailey going could change a few clubs around. Will be interesting to see.

The more I think about it, the more I think we’re going to have to trade up to 7 if we want to get someone we’re really keen on, because you’d think West Coast would be extremely open to trading back again, if a club makes them a really good offer for their first pick.

So if any of Phil/Tsatas/C-Mac are still available at their pick, I could definitely see a team like Sydney trading their two teens picks for pick 9, so that they could grab that guy before us.

IMO the club has 2 mids in mind.

If they are both gone I can see us getting Busslinger and then making a play for Hewitt or Burguil.

Letting go of Long and Brown over the years has just made things even more desperate IMO

We can't expect to much of the kids next year but the development of Milera , Windhager , Owens and this years first round pick will be good to see. However this year Clark , Coffield and Hayes who have hardly played over the last year will go a long way to get us playing finals if the show the promise they have shown , it's just like picking up top grade players in the trade period.
Then thrown in the development of King , Higgins and Sharman we are in pretty good shape.
It's just up to the senior players to start performing consistant - Marshall , Hill , Membery , Butler.

Yeah I wrote that before I heard/read Gags comments. Seems we won’t be trading up. Unless he’s bluffing.
