The guy is an Eagles fans so it seems more wishful thinking that we take Hayes so they can take Busslinger with the next pick.
There probably are people who would take Hayes before Buss. By rumour, Collingwood are big fans.

KPD vs interceptor.

To me its the common case of Wether you're going for highest ceiling or floor.
Hayes appears to me as less of a risk but doesn't have the same potential.

Yep. Solid not star potential, but I'd be comfortable if he slipped to our second pick. Big boy already too, seems an old school defender

Where would you play him?
Inside mid

Nar, Would be forward/ruck role
Gives us that extra option in the VFL while he works on his craft, ideally would come in to replace Bruce/Lobb role in the future

Edit: I do believe that Jamarra will end up becoming a winger for us

Marra is a generational talent. Cadman and sheezel would be lucky to be in the top 5-10 in a stronger draft class
Marra with two seasons of extra nab league under his belt would far different than his first AFL Season
Would been a walk in 22 imo

Keeler is the most interesting prospect in this draft to me as he has some Adam Goodes like traits which are exciting but there is also some Jack Watts, Josh Shache on field persona as well. The recruiters that select him and coaches that develops him will really prove their worth if they can optimise his talent and translate it into AFL excellence. He looks like a player that could play a multitude of roles and be a point of difference in them IF he can find a way to minimise his deficiencies and develop in roles that cover for those and play to his strengths. His current game could see him develop through a wing or half forward but if it all comes together for him he looks to have true utility potential.
At 39 the risk may well be worth it.

KPF/Ruck does seem the obvious candidate due to his height and athleticism but with our list profile with Mara and Naughton and having Darcy who has the capacity to being a dominant ruck forward, I would be hesitant to pigeon hole Keeler as this.
That's not to say he shouldn't learn and develop his KPF/Ruck skills but he could be a significant point of difference in other parts of the ground if it comes together for him.

I’m just not a fan of drafting someone with the idea that he’ll learn a new position and play well there.

Yeah we tried that with Butler but it just didn't seem like it would ever really work

I don't disagree with this as a concept and with the majority of prospects.
Could Keeler be selected and developed with the sole view as a KPF/Ruck? Sure he can. And with development he may well be a competent one at that, but I don't see it as that is how he has the biggest advantage over an opponent.
His forward craft seems good but he isn't always committed to the contest. I don't see him being best utilised as a down the line option or pack marking power forward. His ruck work needs work, but his follow up and after the actual ruck contest skill set really interests me.
In our team specifically however, with our list profile, I'm also interested in his scope to be a Goodes/Blicavs like player that can play a multitude of roles and have an advantage over his opponents due to his athletic traits and skillset. Mind you, that will only manifest with OPTIMAL development.
I'm not fully sold he gets there, but I sure am interested to see his journey.

Would love Keeler - he’s super raw but he’ll have time to develop in the VFL with us.

Could see Marra taking him under his wing and show him how hard you actually need to work despite having tonnes of talent, it won’t just happen. Which could help him blossom with us.

If We added Keeler to the forward / ruck rotations, Darcy would be even more dangerous floating around the ground clunking marks.

I'm holding hope that Sydney or GWS are super keen for a slider at 11 on the night and offer us 14 & 17 or 15 & 18 for 11 & 39.

Not an unreasonable proposition. Getting a third pick inside of 21 seems like it would be a great outcome for us this year

That would be a great outcome particularly if we are targeting Hayes

Today in the rumor thread has Giants wanting to trade out 19 and 31 as they're not going to use them.

Hypothetically dogs could trade 39 to hawks for 52 and their future 4th (tied to lions according to Fox sports) then trade 11 and 52 and 1 of the future 4ths for 15 19 31. Trade 31 away for a future 2nd from a team.
