Phillipou would look great in the #3.

His numbers in the WAFL colts are pretty impressive but I’m not sure on the standard, I’d be keen on going back and watching his champs game which I’ll do at some stage.
Yeah thought that’d be the case, would be a real potential pick then - maybe if we end up with an extra pick in the range then we could be a good club to take the risk; otherwise there will probably be safer picks at 21He only played the last champs game and was pretty average. He was coming back from a stress fracture in his back, so hard to judge him based on that.
I haven't seen much of him either. U18 WAFL games are very hard to watch because the standard is pretty poor.

Hello, our board has a rumour you guys want to swap 11, Brisbane's 2023r1 for 5 to get Jyhe Clarke? Do you think this is true?

Jeez, that Baxter kid has a fair athletic profile. How are his skills and size?
Doesn't want to leave WAI like Elijah Hewitt a lot at 11.
Such quick feet in & around stoppages. Once he puts on more size & strength I can see him becoming an explosive stoppage player.
What's the knock on him ?
No one wants to leave WA until they experience how much the real world in the east has to offer, then they don’t want to go back… unless they’re a genuine halfwit like that big, dumb **** JacksonDoesn't want to leave WA

I don't follow the draft prospects very closely but I like the look of Lachie Cowan at 21, what are other people's thoughts on him?
I wonder what GC could be dumb enough to trade us pick 5 for? Theyd prefer picks next year by the looks of things - could they be silly enough to trade us for a F1 & 21 or F2?I doubt it. We'd still be able to get a good mid at 11 if we want one, potentially a Phillipou or Hollands, or Busslinger. I've seen talk about some clubs wanting to trade up into the top 6, but not us. Can't imagine us trading up and paying big for a short mid.

I’d definitely be asking the question they seem hellbent on destroying themselves
Who would we even take at 5 I wonder, definitely wouldn’t be Clark. I really do think we want another pick this year, whether that’s trading back into the draft or splitting a pick I’m not sure but I reckon we have something in mind
Can we bid on Jaspa, Brisbane match it and then we trade our pick for Sydney’s later 2?also Bid On Jaspa Fletcher Or So Help Me

I know it seems that way based on highly positive phantoms etc...but the word is that almost every club is trying to move up and nobody is biting. It's not a good sign.Would be way better off splitting our pick 11 than trying to move up. 18, 19, 21 could be really good.

You would think that the offers will increase closer to the draft.
I worry that the better performed players this year were just average because the rest were below average. It appears that the clubs think that way too, otherwise we would have had more pick swaps done by now.
Hollands Is the only of those three I would see going first round.I’m not sure players like Hewett, Hotton and Hollands would crack the first round most years.
For example, are those guys projecting to be better than Robertson, Sharp or Rivers were before the draft in 2019? They all went second round, pick 22 and after.
Highly improbable. We'd want to sack Sam Power if he did that.Hello, our board has a rumour you guys want to swap 11, Brisbane's 2023r1 for 5 to get Jyhe Clarke? Do you think this is true?
Goldcoast could be running after Hollands and pick 5 is a big stretch of getting him there when he's rated at dogs pick. I bet if gets them more future picks they'll do a deal with around his range. But I agree 11 and F1 is overs for dogs even if they want Jhye when they can get hollands and another player next year.Highly improbable. We'd want to sack Sam Power if he did that.
That's not our typical MO anyway. Especially after hollowing out our draft hand the last two years to get Ugle-Hagan and Darcy. If it's at all possible we would like a good spread of picks in the 10-25 range so we would be more likely to split our pick 11 than to trade up into the top 10.
Besides haven't Gold Coast got that pick 5? If anybody should be giving them charity right now I reckon it should be the Cats. They would have been giggling with glee over that crazy Bowes deal.
