Think its a good call. Our key defenders are either old or a bit meh, probably smart in the medium to long term. I imagine the plan will be to play Darcy in defense the next couple of years so might be hard to play both of them early.

Wonder who we were considering if we got up to 5?

Brisbane pissed off that the fact that they were forced to pay the value of 3 picks in the 40's as opposed of 2 picks in the 40's and one pick in the 50's for the maybe fifteenth best player in the draft

There isn't anyone obviously more talented than Busslinger

So much for Hewitt sliding, and Allan being talked up. Definitely the first surprise of the night

Happy with Busslinger. As some have said, long term he will fill a need given two of our tall defenders probably have a couple of years left in them. No reason Busslinger cannot be a starter from day one / early. Does have the tools, and the increased interchange bench.

Now to see who gets knocked over the next few picks, so we get a realistic idea on who may land at our second pick.
