Hoping for Hotton personally. Can he play wing though?

I know he started the season slow, and burst into draft calculations with a good back half of the year. So obviously we'd hope he is consistent and had found his position of strength.
Would imagine he ends up as a HFF
Off to saints

Its a ridiculous thought. All he said was he would love to play for a Tassie team, not that he would be homesick. A Tassie team which is over 5 years or more away. WA and SA players have just as much risk of wanting to go home yet we draft them. He is a mature player with leadership qualities, not a mummys boy. People are making an imaginary a threat that does not exist right now. I don't buy into the flight risk scare some here run with.

As someone who grew up in Tassie, you'd have to be a weird unit to want to move back there after experiencing life in Melbourne. Nice place to holiday and retire but its not a good place for someone in their prime.

Haha get forked. Thats 4 players we hoped to be around pick 39 gone one after the other

At least we know for sure now, that we will end up with some kind of mystery pick. That is the last of the know players linked to us that I am aware of.

Nothing to do with being homesick but more being targeted as a franchise player for his home state. Pressure and money will be hard to ignore?

Even if he did. We will likely have gotten 100 games by then. He will likely be deeply settled by then. At worst we may get the same we paid back for him. But likely since Tas would have gotten a good draft hand and concessions, they would have to give up a bit for him. So we win out regardless.
