Just look at Asian Cup 23. China pulled out due to zero covid policy.

South Korea immediately stepped up to host in June 23. They havent hosted the tournament since 1960 and have a suitable climate for a June tournament.

Surprise surprise AFC give it to Qatar with 45 degree temps in June. They also hosted as recently as 2011.
