Just checked his age expecting him to be like 36-37. Nope he is only 33. To see Messi and Ronaldo still dominating at their ages and to see Bale put up that effort was very interesting.

Spent the last few years sitting on the pine for a club that didn't want him there counting his cash and planning his next round of golf, Messi and Ronaldo are special players that have an enormous dedication to their work and a drive to succeed. Ronaldo was on the pine for less than half a season and already gotten out because he won't accept it. Not sure it's that surprising to see Bale playing like he is now.
