A real shame from next WC the four team group format will be gone.

The tournament will open with a group stage consisting of 16 groups of 3 teams, with the top 2 teams progressing from each group to a knockout starting with a round of 32 teams….garbage!
why. makes it more likely for minnows to advance, as one shock win basically get you through.

Only two group games..all played at separate times of course…not a fan

the GD is only now equal now that its 4-2 Germany which now means if Spain somehow sxore next couple mins Germany go through on GF. When it was 3-2, Japan still had superior GD.
