The five teams we're playing twice are: Adelaide, Geelong, Gold Coast Suns, Hawthorn, Sydney Swans.

That's not terrible. Could be 6 victories right there!

I’ve travelled from SA for Good Friday 3 out of 4 times. If we don’t rock up this year I’ll be pissed off cause I did my bit and I will be not at all surprised if we lose it. Every single member and supporter should prioritise attending that game.

When you're last, every team you play is above you on the ladder, so ours is hardest by default right?

For some reason, the AFL continue to add the redundant letters, "TURE" to the end of their season's game schedule. They call it a "fixTURE" but everybody knows it's a FIX.

We can't play ourselves, let alone twice, so numb3rs computer breaks down here. It is like Melbourne can't have the hardest draw.

It should be 3 top 6, 1 middle 6 and 1 bottom 6. Bizarre.

Mathematically, it would be feasible to have all top 6 teams play their double ups against each other and same for the middle 6 and bottom 6. That would be the fairest system but not the most profitable. And that's why it won't ever happen.

Good draw for us. 2 games in Melbourne to start the season is unexpectedly brilliant. Anzac day eve game and Good Friday all should boost our membership numbers. Hopefully me and the joey can get to all 7 home games at Marvel after 2 years of membership donations. Looking forward to it already
