How was Stewart careless?
Because such a good, pure of heart, outstanding model citizen, who poops rainbows that smell of roses and escorts old ladies across multi-lane roads at the risk to his own personal safety could not possibly have done that intentionally /endofscottpressconference

I'm kinda on Thomas' side on this one. If you wanna be a lippy, disrespectful smart-arse to someone just doing their job - even if poorly - then you have every right to cop a lippy, disrespectful response.

That said, idiot for doing so and should've just blocked the person who commented.

Commenting on his performance for which he was awful is not exactly 'lippy, disrespectful'.

Come on... it's not like it was constructive criticism or a supportive message. It was blatant mockery intended to insult. Are you suggesting you wouldn't feel disrespected if someone was taking the piss out of your job performance?

When it's fair criticism, I reckon I'd let it go through to the keeper, not make some pathetic jab about how much money I earn.

Tom Stewart straight to tribunal.

No action for Fyfe's touch on ump.

Zac Jones;
(from AFL.com)
Happy about Fyfe. It would have been total crap to penalise him given he was pushed into him. Nothing like the Greene incident which was clearly intended to intimidate.
Stewart will get 3 instead of 4 thanks to Scott's BS.
Jones should have got one. He had no intent to tackle. Not the end of the world.

that's about every third post on this board ... every second post in gameday threads
players are entitled to respond, too, but the money part of his response is, ironically, cheap and classless

As a professional AFL player, he needs to be able to put himself above it & not engage.

He hasn’t done himself or his club any favours here.

I don't disagree but there is a reason players aren't meant to have access to their phones 10 minutes after games...

Also, apparently Thomas' grandmother died last week. So I don't think the kid should be hanged for not being completely rational.

Proof that North is a complete rabble. Tarryn Thomas posted this response to a fan 10 minutes after the match ended.

No wonder that club has no future.

Just waiting for a certain poster here to tell me it’s ok because we have our own problems…

Cornes can be a bit of a flog but interesting the point he makes about Carlton. Lots of players out of contract at the end of 2023 and can't see how they will be able to afford them all especially with he likes of DeKoenig coming along quicker than expected. Would be nice to be able to pick off some of their talent.

He could've waited more than 10 minutes after the final siren sounded to look at his Socials let alone make the comment.

its North, surprised it wasn't during time on in the 3rd quarter
