My impression is Kemp is in the 20-25th player range, on the edge of the team. So I guess a few injuries ahead of him (Zilliams any minute now) can only improve his chances.

EDIT: A quick trip to the carlton board and it seems most have him in their round 1 teams. Happy days.

The 23-year-old has become an important cog in Geelong’s defence following a breakout 2021 season.

“The key defender was on light duties pre-Christmas, but fresh assessment revealed a partial foot fracture that will keep him off running for up to six weeks,” Cleary told 7 News on Wednesday night.

Henry made his AFL debut in 2018 and has gone on to play 90 games for the Cats. He signed a three-year contract extension last April.
